Peter Pan day

The first thing you do when you wake up is to excitedly search for the date of the day, right?

Of course, when I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was to wonder what day it was, and while listening to the chirping of the birds and the murmuring of the stream, I suddenly turned on my smartphone, opened the browser, and typed in "12/27".

Needless to say, this was a spontaneous action out of "reverence and pure interest in today, a day that will never come again," and not something I did after I was about to write this note, thinking, "Oh, I have nothing to write today.

That's right. Today is the only day that can come, and it will never come. Therefore, we should bite, step, and grip this day with sincerity...

So, what day is "December 27th?" It is "Peter Pan Day.

You all know about Peter Pan, don't you? It's a children's story based on a play written by James Matthew Barrie, a Scottish writer in England in the early 20th century. I thought it was a very old story, but it was written in the 20th century. It's so recent.

In the story, there are children called "Lost Boys" living in Neverland, but there are no adults among the "Lost Boys. There are no adults among the "Lost Boys" because Peter Pan kills them before they become adults. This is not an urban legend or a gossip, but it is described in the book "Peter Pan and Wendy" published in 1911, "When the children grew up, Peter killed them to weed them out because it was against the rules.

It's a refreshing day today, isn't it?
