Because it's there.

When did the Fleet, or "Twitter stories" feature come out?

I just looked it up and found out that it was introduced on November 10 last year.

To be honest, I think I use social networking services to a certain extent. I only open it when I want to send out a message, and when I want to tweet a note article, I just click the tweet button at the bottom of the article, so even though I use it, I don't open it very often. I almost never voluntarily open a social networking site to look at the information pouring out of it.

So I only found out about Fleet, the "Twitter story feature," a few days ago, but now that I know about it, I can't help but use it, right? As George Mallory, the legendary British mountaineer, said when asked why he climbed mountains, "Because they are there. Incidentally, these words were used by Mallory when asked by a reporter, "Why did you want to climb Everest? It's not an exaggerated life lesson to face difficulties, but it's a natural thing for a mountaineer to want to climb a mountain (Everest) that no one has climbed before. As a mountaineer, you want to be the first to climb the mountain, right?

Well, that's why I've been using the Fleet feature "because it's there". Well, it's just like Instagram stories. It's just a different platform.

But to be honest, I wonder if we really need that many ways to communicate. Is it really necessary to have multiple communication functions within the same platform? Isn't it enough to just post regular articles? Is there any significance in the fact that it disappears in 24 hours?

I'm not sure, but I'm trying to use it, Fleet. Because that's where the fleets are.

Please register your bank account

The message "Please register your bank account" now appears in my notes. What's going on? I thought, "What's going on?" and checked, and found out that note wants to pay me a lot of money.

That's right, I hadn't set up a bank account to transfer the money to, despite the fact that there was a lot of money accumulating from my support of note. I had forgotten about it.

I had completely forgotten about it. I completely forgot that I was to receive the precious money that I received from all over the world.

The total amount of money that has been accumulated through the support of Ore-sama is 100 yen.

I checked and found out that one person supported me in February last year. Thank you very much.

I was wondering if there is a minimum amount of money that can be transferred, but I guess not. I wondered if there was a minimum amount for the transfer, but it seems there isn't. At least, I couldn't find any information like that. And "After deducting 5% of the credit card transaction fee, we will charge 10% of the platform usage fee.

Aside from the 5% credit card transaction fee, the platform usage fee is not a fixed amount but a percentage. Well, both crowdfunding and Yahoo! Japan charge a percentage of the platform usage fee. I guess that's the way it is.

So the amount of support I received was 100 yen, from which I can receive 85 yen after deducting the credit card transaction fee (100 yen x 0.05 = 5 yen) and the platform usage fee ((100 yen - 5 yen) x 0.1 = 9.5 yen).

I firmly promise that the 85 yen will definitely be useful for Kanashibari. Thank you very much.

Walk Out Invaders

Invader games are the ones where a bunch of guys in shaved regents and school uniforms with dragon and tiger embroidery on the back are smoking cigarettes in a dimly lit coffee shop.

Of course, Kanashibari is one of the world's best tsukparis, so we decided to make the music video for "Walk Out" into an invader game, using the jackets of Kanashibari's three EPs as the invaders.

I can just imagine Kinpachi-sensei finding Kanashibari and his friends absorbed in this in a coffee shop and yelling, "Hey! I can just see him yelling at them.

Incidentally, the Invader game was the first shooting game where you had to play against the enemy. Before the Invader games, shooting games were just "target shooting" games where you aim at a target and shoot bullets, and the enemies didn't attack you. Now that I think about it, a shooting game where the enemies don't attack seems to be more revolutionary.

Now, let's all watch "Walk Out," which is an invader game, and get our Showa-style kicks!

Result of occasionally tweeting past articles

As I wrote in "Don't let the sea turn to seaweed", I started tweeting past articles from time to time on Twitter to prevent them from turning to seaweed. Well, it's done by a bot, so it's not like I'm manually tweeting every time.

Well, it's been about two weeks since I started this experiment on January 15, and as far as I can tell, my monthly PV went up by a little over 10%. As for the effect, my PV for the month went up by a little over 10%, so if I run it for two weeks and my PV for the month goes up by a little over 10%, then if I run it for the whole month, it will go up by about 25%. I guess it doesn't work that well.

I don't know how much it's connected to new readers, because I think there are a lot of people who usually read this site read it again, but once the bot is set up, it will do it all by itself.

Well, the default access analysis of "note" shows only "rough" data, so I can't analyze it well, but at least I can say it's effective.

It's quite an interesting result. I wonder if it can be applied to other things as well.

The passion of that day again

There are times when you get something you've been craving, and you're satisfied with just getting it, even though using it is your original goal.

The other day, on the day I wrote "Beautiful Women Around the World," I suddenly had a craving for something buttery and milky, so I bought some cookies at a convenience store and said to myself, "I'm going to gulp them down with a cup of coffee," but I haven't eaten them yet. But I haven't eaten it yet (the image at the top of that article is a picture of the excitement of getting what I've been craving). I don't know, the burning desire that I had at that time has already gone away, hasn't it? It's strange. I'm going to have a sneaky bite when I'm hungry.

By the way, I finished reading Ray Bradbury's "Golden Apples of the Sun" with great emotion on January 13th.

I was so impressed that I ran to the bookstore to buy Ray Bradbury's other books as soon as I finished reading them (I opened the Amazon screen on my computer), and as soon as I picked up the first one I saw, I ran to the checkout to get it (I completed the order with a few clicks on my computer).

So now I have "The Martian Chronicles" in my hands. But I haven't read a single page yet. I'm going to read it in my spare time while I'm working on various things, but the burning desire I had for it has gone away. It's strange.

I'm sure it would be interesting to read it. I wonder if the passion of that day has fallen somewhere, to take the first step.

1920x1080 & 48kHz/24bit

It's been exactly one week since we released the music video for "Devil Studs" on January 19.

Today's article is completely useless for those who don't care about picture quality or sound quality, or for those who have no connection with it.

As I wrote in the article "Processing HD version", I started to try to "pay attention to the picture and sound quality when uploading to Youtube" from the music video of "Devil Studs".

Last time, I thought "First of all, let's try to export the music video with the highest quality image and sound quality possible and upload it to Youtube", so I exported it with the highest quality I could export with my video editing software. I later found out that even though I had created the video in 1920 x 1080, I had exported it in 3840 x 2160, which made no sense at all. This is probably one of the reasons why it took so long to export and upload. Fail fail fail.

Also, I had set the sound quality to "44.1kHz/16bit" for my previous music videos, but for "Devil Studs", I set it to "48kHz/24bit". Until now, I thought "it's going to be "44.1kHz/16bit" in the end anyway", but to my surprise, Youtube recommends "44.1kHz" as the sample rate, but they also support "48kHz" and "96kHz", and "24 bit" was recommended. Well, failure, failure.

So I uploaded the 44.1kHz/16bit and 48kHz/24bit files and compared them. Needless to say, the 48kHz/24bit version sounds better, but to tell the truth, I also like the 44.1kHz/16bit version. It's quite degraded, but the way it's degraded makes it sound like it was recorded on tape. So I feel that it gives the song a little more saturation and a more driving feel. I see.

Here is a music video that was created in 1920 x 1080, but wasted no time in exporting it in 3840 x 2160, and using 48 kHz/24-bit sound quality.

part2: Beautiful women from around the world

As I wrote in the article "Beautiful women from all over the world", I keep getting friend requests on Facebook from beautiful women I don't know from overseas. Of course, I've been approving them all the time. When I looked at my phone just now, I saw that I had 30 friend requests. And not only from beautiful women, but also from old men and young men. However, I've rejected the older men and young men because they all honestly wrote something like, "A profitable side business is something like that.

I think I've gained about 250 beautiful women friends. About 20% of them immediately contacted me with messages, so I deleted those messages from one end to the other.

Some of the people who send me messages immediately demand that I contact them on line from the very first message, while others do not. I'm sure those who don't will lead you to them as you communicate with them, but what's interesting to me is that there are many people who don't receive any messages even after friend-approving.

The accounts of the beautiful women who send me friend requests can be broadly classified as "insubstantial (no articles)," "pornographic," "brand-name (or fake brand) advertising," "spiritual world? (with some kind of positive religious text)". I can understand if the purpose of blindly trying to connect in this way is to lead people to where they want to go (erotic sites or brand products for sale) through message exchanges, but I don't understand people who "blindly connect with accounts that have almost no substance, and then do nothing in particular after connecting," or What is the purpose of an account?

I've never really been interested in Facebook, but now I'm suddenly interested.

I'm still going to continue my research.

A melancholy, explosive rock song

The Hellacopters broke up once, but I wonder if they ever reunited?

I've written before about what kind of band HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead would become if they combined in "HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead", but I think the first and second albums of The Hellacopters are probably the closest to the sound of HANOI ROCKS and The Hellacopters' first and second albums are probably the closest to the combined sound of HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead. It's "bombastic rock with a hint of melancholy". It's a masterpiece.

Backyard Babies' second album is also a masterpiece like that, but The Hellacopters' first and second albums are closer to the sound of HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead combined. Especially in the "melancholy" part.

The Hellacopters went more and more into the "dead rock" direction after the third album, and there was no Motörhead smell at all, and Backyard Babies was like that after the third album. Motörhead, or Lemmy for that matter, was a blast from start to finish.

I've never seen The Hellacopters live, but I've seen Backyard Babies a few times. I've written before that "The Wildhearts' show at Shibuya-AX is one of the top three shows I've ever seen", and one of the two Backyard Babies shows I saw at Shibuya-AX is one of them. No, it wasn't AX, it was Quattro. Anyway, I don't remember if it was their first or second visit to Japan, but they played for about 40 minutes without any intermissions or MCs, and it was really cool.

I don't know if it was the first time or the second time, but they played for about 40 minutes without any intermissions.

Compression with cassette tape

It seems that the popularity of cassette tapes is slowly increasing as people go back to analog.

The first thing that strikes me about cassette tapes is their good looks. Records are great, but if I had to choose between the looks of records and cassette tapes, I'd go with cassette tapes. I don't think there's any comparison, though. I don't have a player for either of them.

In terms of sound, cassette tapes have an effect called "tape compression," which compresses (crushes) excessively input sound, and it's quite excellent. In the case of digital tape, over-input of sound only results in "crackling" that hurts the ears, but with analog tape, the sound is compressed by "tape compression" and becomes thick, rough, and pleasant to the ear. It's kind of amazing, isn't it?

In the distant past, I had a frustrating experience of trying to mix cassette tape recordings with digital recordings, but I'm confident that I can do it well now. But now I'm confident that I can do it well. Well, there are a lot of plug-ins for that kind of thing now, so I can recreate it without actually using real analog tapes.

I'm not greedy, so I don't have any desire to collect cassette tapes! I don't have any desire to collect cassette tapes, but I do like to make things, so I think the process of creating a cassette tape work of art would be fun. I'm excited about the idea of dividing the song order into A-side and B-side, and creating a jacket that size.

What is peace?

I thought there was one more natto left in the refrigerator at Kanashibari base, but there was none. Instead, there was one baby cheese left, so I ate it.

The cheese was not enough to make up for the natto, so I searched all over the base, and found a bun. I put it in my mouth, thinking that I hadn't eaten it since I bought it at the 100 yen Lawson yesterday because I wanted something sweet. I see, it's the brown sugar that makes it so chewy. I wonder if the brown sugar is used for the dough, not the bean paste. I don't know what it is, but it's wonderful. It goes really well with coffee.

When I went to the post office, there were many hand-drawn New Year's cards on the wall. I don't know if they were brought in by the person who drew them or by the person who received them, but they seemed to be on display for "well-drawn New Year's cards. There was a New Year's card that seemed to have been drawn by a child, and it had a large sign that said "Fun. I think there was a picture of an ox on it, but the impact of the word "fun" was so strong that I can't remember what kind of picture it was.

The man who delivered the parcel said, "It's warm today. Well, the coldest month is February, isn't it? I was thinking of showing him the fact that the lowest temperature of the year is usually recorded in February, but the average lowest temperature of the month is lower in January. But I held my ground and replied smilingly, "Yes, that's true.

The world is at peace today.

I may have stepped on a caltrop

I've written before about the miraculous story of how I applied Vaseline to my incredibly rough and shaggy heels, and it turned out to be a great spectacle of love and emotion. So I left it alone again.

Then yesterday, I felt a pain in my right heel when I walked. I don't usually get frostbite, and I wondered if I'd stepped on one of my enemy's "makibish," so I checked it when I took a bath.

I wondered if I had stepped on a "Makibishi" that the enemy had planted. There was a male and a dead body part, or rather, a part that hurt when pressed, and it seemed as if the cracks from when it was fluffy before had deepened only in that part. It seems to be the first time in my life that I've had a chapped skin, since there was no stinging.

I was under the impression that "chapped skin" was constantly bleeding, but after some research, I found out that it's not like that. I applied Vaseline to my heels last night after taking a bath, and I completely forgot about the pain in my heels until now (it's now 18:17). Today, I forgot all about the pain in my heels until now (it's now 18:17), when I realized that the pain has been reduced by half... or rather, it's almost gone.

Vaseline is not a cure, it's just a moisturizer, right? Why does it work so quickly? Vaseline is amazing.

By the way, I just searched for how to write "makibish" in Chinese characters, and was surprised to find "makibish mail order" at the top of the search results. I didn't know that makibish was sold by mail order... even though it was a ninja tool...

By the way, "makibishi" is written as "撒菱," and it is a tool that ninja use to injure their pursuers by scattering them on the way to escape.

Beautiful women from around the world

I rarely use Facebook, but I do have an account there.

Recently, I've been getting frequent friend requests from beautiful women I don't know from overseas on Facebook. I'm sure they like me. When I look into the profiles of these people, I find that they rarely post anything, the Japanese they write is unnatural and unintelligible, and their profile pictures are strangely processed, but of course I approve all of them without worrying about it. Let's be friends.

As soon as they add you as a friend, they send you a message with their LINE ID saying, "Let's talk on LINE," or even ask you out on a date for tea or dinner.

It seems that all the beautiful women in the world are so curious about me that they can't stop thinking about me. I wonder if this is what they call "the spring of our world. Is this the place called "peach garden"? I guess my time has finally come! Let the sea breams and flounders dance!

Well, it was cold again today. Let's take care not to catch a cold.

The music video for "DEVIL STUDS" is now available on Youtube!

The music video for "Devil Studs" is now available on Youtube!

Devil Studs" is the title track from Kanashibari's 2nd EP "Devil Studs", but this time there are different versions, ma'am, different versions.

Among the wives, there's the version that keeps talking endlessly with the neighbor's wife about gossip that has no basis in fact, the version that uses various techniques to knock down the wives around her in the bargaining room to get the prize, the version that goes around to several supermarkets to find the cheapest milk for even one yen, and the version that squeals with joy. There's the version where you're sitting on the kotatsu in a sloppy outfit, occasionally eating a tangerine, and looking at your phone while scratching your ass.

There are many versions of Kanashibari songs as well. If I had to guess, I'd say that this version is more like "the version where you're at a bargain store and you're using various techniques to beat up the wives around you while trying to get your prize. I'm sure if you watch the music video 300 times, you'll understand what I mean.

Of course, the lyrics are also available. If you watch the music video 300 times, you will understand what I mean.

Processing the HD version

I can't complete uploading the video to Youtube. No, to be precise, the upload is completed, but the "HD version process" is not completed.

The other day's "Ore-sama PC crash incident" was just the right opportunity for me to make some changes to my music editing, video editing, and other things. Yes, to make it even better!

So, I've been trying out a lot of things, but it takes a long time to try one thing. In the end, it is enough to create, export, and upload the video with the highest quality that the software you are using supports, but no matter how great the resolution is, it is useless if the destination (in this case, Youtube) does not support it. However, there is a lot of information about what level of resolution Youtube supports, but in the end you have to try it out. However, the file size of the highest quality (not the quality of music or video, but the resolution) is huge, it takes a lot of time to export, it takes a lot of time to upload, and now it takes a lot of time to process on Youtube side. Moreover, there is a good chance that you will end up saying, "Oh, it doesn't make sense to go this far. Then you have to start all over again, right?

What then?

Well, the upload is done, so I can watch it as usual, but I don't think the HD processing is done either.

I love making music and videos, but I hate thinking about the sound and picture quality.

Tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that, or the day after that

We've been steadily releasing music videos and lyric videos on our Youtube Kanashibari channel, and the last time we released a music video was on December 30. It's no exaggeration to say that it's a "cursed song", and we've released "Hard Freeze".

It's been 18 days since then. I felt like I've been releasing music videos like a storm, but it's been more than half a month since the last one. It's been more than half a month since the last time, and half of January is over, which means one twenty-fourth of this year is over. It's always scary how fast time flies.

So, the next music video will be released soon. I don't know if it will be tomorrow, the next day, or the day after that, because I don't have a schedule, but I'm sure that the next day or two will be the critical time.

The other day, my PC crashed while I was having a hard time with it. This is exactly what I mean by "a bee on a crying face", or rather, "a kick in the pants", in other words, "a bee on a weak eye".

So, tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, or the day after that, some kind of video will be released on Youtube Kanashibari channel!

I won't let you turn us into seaweed

There are many people who continue to write articles, not only on note, but also on blogs and whatever else. I've been writing this note every day for over a year (maybe 400 days).

In my case, it's hard for me to get motivated to post articles on Twitter and Facebook, but that's because Twitter and Facebook don't accumulate content, it just gets washed away and disappears into the sea. But with notes and blogs, content is accumulated, so once you create content, it doesn't just vanish into thin air. Well, tweets and Facebook posts don't exactly disappear, but finding specific content from the past can be quite a hurdle.

In short, once you've done something, you've put a lot of time and effort into it, and you want to suck it down to the bone. Even if I do a gig, I think it's too costly to just do it and leave it at that, so I want to take photos and videos of it and suck it up for secondary and tertiary use. Whether it's writing a note article or doing a gig, I want to maximize the effort that goes into it.

I've been thinking about this for a while, but when I look at the access to my note articles, I see that the newer articles are by far the most popular. That's normal, but my ideal is to have all the articles lined up in parallel. No matter how many articles are stored, if the past articles are buried, it's not much different from just letting them drift around.

That's why, as an experiment, I've decided to occasionally post past articles on Twitter.

The idea is the same, whether I'm writing a blog about the English translation of this note, or a podcast of the contents of this note read out loud by an automated voice (aborted).

I wonder what other ways there are to dig up past articles.

Your dreams

It's not about what you want to achieve in the future, but about a series of ideas and mental images that you feel as if they were real experiences during sleep.

I don't think it's completely clear why we dream during sleep, but I'm pretty sure it's because we're trying to organize and consolidate our memories. While we are sleeping, our brains organize the information we have seen and heard into genres, and work to pull it out and put it together from our memory storehouse. The dream is the replaying of this process in the brain, which is why the story of the dream is sometimes incoherent.

A long time ago, I went to a library and devoured a lot of books about dreams. Even though I have been intrigued by dreams since I was a child, I can't remember now why I wanted to know so much about them as if I was possessed by something at that time. However, I do remember that among the many theories swirling around dream research, the one that made the most sense to me was that they are what we see when our brains are "organizing and fixing memories" while we sleep. The brain has an infinite world inside of it, and I'm really intrigued by it.

The reason why I'm writing about this today is because I haven't touched my bass guitar for a few days, but yesterday I picked it up for the first time in a long time, and it turned out to be really good. If you play an instrument, you'll know that technical things don't get better day by day as you practice, but rather, they suddenly get better when what you've practiced is organized in your brain and takes root. So, when you pick up your instrument after a long time, you might think, "I can play now what I couldn't play before! Oh, lucky me! It happens all the time. In other words, while you were away from your instrument, your brain organized the technical information you practiced while you were asleep, and as a result, it became fixed in your memory.

I thought about this when I picked up my bass guitar for the first time in a while. Come to think of it, I've been dreaming a lot lately.

A lot of 12-inch records

I've written a few times in this note about the trends in the analog record industry, but suddenly I remembered that there were 12-inch records crammed into cardboard boxes and left at the Kanashibari base. Suddenly I remembered that I had a cardboard box full of 12-inch records left at the Kanashibari base.

The records were obtained from a certain source, and there must be about 100 of them. I'd forgotten about them, or rather, I'd been looking at them every day because they were always in plain sight, but they'd become a part of my room.

I took a quick look at it again, and it seems to be mostly (or all) black music 12-inch singles. I don't have a player, so I don't know if it's hip-hop, R&B, or black music in general, but from the look of the cover and the fact that it's all 12-inch singles, it smells like that.

I don't know if it's R&B or black music in general, but the cover and the fact that it's all 12-inch singles give me a whiff of that type of music. There are many different versions of the same song. Does this count as a maxi single? I don't know much about that, so I'm not sure.

By the way, all of Kanashibari's CDs are 6-song EPs, but nowadays, EPs are called "works that contain too many songs to be called singles, but not enough to be called albums. However, EP originally stands for "Extended Play," and an EP is said to be "an extended 45 rpm release with an extended groove.

I just did some research and found out that "the left and right amplitudes become larger for songs with a lot of low frequencies. This means that since the surface area of a record is limited, music with a lot of low frequencies will have a shorter recording time. I wonder if that's why many records have the bass sound cut out to increase the recording time.

22 stories full of fantasy and poetic sentiment

I just finished reading "Golden Apples of the Sun.

I'm so glad I did. It was really good. That's right. It's not "interesting" but "good.

For the record, this book is a collection of short stories, but as I mentioned in a previous article, I had read "Sound of Thunder" when I was a child, and it was so shocking to my childhood mind that I decided to read the original story again.

I was expecting the whole story to be creepy or horrific, since "The Sound of Thunder" was rather creepy, but it was totally different. I was wondering how to explain this kind of thing, and I found it written on the back cover of the book.

"22 stories full of fantasy and poetic sentiment.

That's right. It's very poetic, isn't it? It's not a poem, it's a story. And it's fantastic. Many of them don't have a clear ending, so it's more like "enjoying the world view" rather than "enjoying the story. So it was more "good" than "interesting. I really like novels that can "win" in terms of setting, in other words, novels where the setting of the story itself is outstanding.

Also, the choice of words and the writing itself is very good. I wonder if this is due to the skill of the translator. And the illustrations are also great.

I can understand why Shinichi Hoshi respected Ray Bradbury so much. I'm going to read his other books, too.

Shining in the Storm of Cruel Angel's Thesis

So, I can't finish the recovery of my PC. No, the PC itself is completely recovered and running smoothly, but I can't finish installing and configuring the software and plug-ins that disappeared during the recovery process.

However, I can't finish installing and configuring the software and plug-ins that disappeared during recovery. Even now, it doesn't recognize my audio interface at all, and I can't get any sound out of Cubase.

By the way, today I checked my email for my previous order history in order to order some supplies since I'm out of them. I thought, "The last time I ordered something was in November," but to my surprise, my last order was in July last year.

Thinking that this could not be the case, I searched for the confirmation email for my subsequent order, but I couldn't find it, so it seems that my "recent order" was last July.

I thought it was just recently, but to my surprise, it was half a year ago. I can really feel the passage of time, the cruel angel's thesis.

Speaking of "Cruel Angel's Thesis," it's the opening song of "Neon Genesis Evangelion," but I've hardly ever watched "Evangelion. I've hardly seen "Evangelion" at all. I saw it briefly in a movie and didn't really like it, and that was it. However, I like "Cruel Angel's Thesis" quite a bit. Whenever I hear this song in my head, it always turns into another song, "Arashi no Naka ni Shite (Shining in the Storm)" before I know it. When I think about it, the two songs are similar in taste and tempo. Speaking of "Arashi no Naka de Shining", it's the opening song of "Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Platoon", and I love both this song and "08th MS Platoon". I've read the novel of "The 08th MS Platoon", but I think the video was better than the novel.

Finally, we have sound! Next is the plug-in!

The Paradox of Random Testing

Have you ever heard of the "unannounced test paradox"?

Here's a simple explanation.

-----------------------------------

If the teacher says, "I'm going to give an unannounced test somewhere on a weekday next week," and the test is to be given on Friday, then the teacher knows by the end of class on Thursday that the test will be given on Friday, and therefore it cannot be given on Friday. If I say "I'll do it on Thursday," then I know that I can't do it on Friday because of the aforementioned reason, so I'll know at the end of class on Wednesday that it will be done on Thursday. Therefore, it can't be done on Thursday. In the same way, if the test is to be held on Wednesday, it will be known at the end of class on Tuesday, so it cannot be held on Wednesday either, and in the end, "the teacher cannot give an unannounced test.

-----------------------------------

This is what I mean.

This is also known as the "death row paradox", replacing the "test" part with "execution".

The reason why I brought up such a paradox story is that my PC stopped booting today. It was said that the windows startup file was corrupted, and I was forced to spend a lot of effort to recover it (I'm still in the process).

I wrote about how my PC went bad about half a year ago, but in the end, I was able to use it somehow, so I just kept on using it, thinking that it would probably break soon. In short, I was in the same situation as the student who was told by the teacher that he would have a surprise test in the "paradox of surprise tests": "It will break soon, but I don't know when.

But today, I was hit as I was. It broke down at a timing that I had not expected at all. It's strange. If the paradox of unannounced tests is true, it should never break, but it's strange.

Melody, chords, and the rest

The technology to break down a song into parts has been around for a long time, but I wonder if this means that it has become even more accurate.

Is "sound source separation technology" that breaks down songs into parts a creator's dream or a copyright nightmare?

This is a feature of Spleeter, an AI tool released last year by the music streaming service Deezer, which uses a process called "sound source separation" to separate any song's audio file into four stems for each type or group of instruments.

It's been possible to split a song into four stems based on the frequency range of each instrument or part, but I guess they've kept the basic principle and added an AI decision to it. The sample only shows the separation of the vocals, but from listening to it, it seems to be almost perfect at extracting just the vocals.

Changes" with split vocal and music tracks using the Spleeter library

It says, "The accuracy of the separation varies depending on the song and the instrument, and the separated bass and drum stems tend to be blurred or distorted," but I'd like to hear how well it can separate instruments other than vocals.

However, using this kind of technology, it's possible to extract a certain part of a song and use it for other purposes, which brings up another copyright issue.

Composition is generally defined as "creating a melody and chord progression. I've always wondered about that. I often compose music with guitar riffs as the main part, and there are many songs out there where the guitar riff is more important than the vocal melody. If you think of melody as a series of notes, then guitar riffs can be interpreted as "melody played on an instrument," so they fall under composition, but then you end up with everything that has a scale, and there's no end to it. It's difficult to say.

Chinese-style stir-fried vegetable noodle soup

I love Tanmen. There was a time when I ate tansmen at the same restaurant every day for lunch for about six months. That's how much I like it. And I never get tired of it. Basically, I like all kinds of noodles, but tang-men has always been at the top of my list. But it's never number one. No, I guess it does sometimes.

Tanmen is a dish of stir-fried vegetables stewed in chicken-based salty broth and served over Chinese noodles, but even if you put stir-fried vegetables on top of chicken-based salty ramen, it's not really tanmen. I feel that it lacks the "something" unique to tangmen.

However, when I eat it at a famous tangmen restaurant, I usually feel that there is something different about it, and when I eat it at a popular restaurant, I always feel that there is something different about it. So in my case, I guess I don't really like "tangmen" but rather "tangmen at popular restaurants.

There is a definite common taste in the tang-men of popular restaurants, isn't there? There is something that sets them apart from salt ramen. Even if it is not a popular restaurant, for example, the tang-men in bagged ramen has the same taste.

So, I think the key is "what is always included in professional tangmen soup ingredients", but I don't know what it is.

I couldn't find out what it was even though I looked it up on the Internet, so today's message was, "From now on, if you see an intelligent gentleman carefully checking the ingredients of tang men noodles at the supermarket, it must be me.

The Two Biggest Hangovers

To put it bluntly, there are two types of liquor: distilled liquor and brewed liquor.

Distilled liquors include shochu, tequila, whiskey, and gin. On the other hand, brewed sake is represented by sake, beer, and wine. Distilled sake and brewed sake are made differently, but that's not what I want to talk about today.

It's generally said that brewed liquor tends to give you a hangover, while distilled liquor doesn't. Is that true for everyone?

I'm the complete opposite. Tequila and gin are two of the biggest hangover killers, and shochu is often said to be less likely to give you a hangover, but for me, it's more likely to give me a hangover. I've never heard of tequila or gin being hangover resistant, and on the other hand, I don't think I've ever had a hangover from sake.

According to my research, "In distilled sake, nutrients such as sugar and amino acids are lost through distillation and only the alcohol is extracted, but in brewed sake, nutrients remain along with the alcohol. However, brewed sake retains nutrients along with the alcohol, and these nutrients slow down the breakdown of alcohol, making brewed sake more susceptible to hangovers than distilled sake.

I've always wondered if people really believe that brewed liquor is more likely to give you a hangover and distilled liquor is less likely to.

Coffee and barley tea

The other day, I bought a very cheap instant coffee (PB from one of the supermarkets) and was surprised to find that there was hardly any aroma when I opened the package. I didn't know that I would lose the aroma in exchange for the price. I don't really care about the taste of coffee, but coffee that doesn't have any scent is quite a special thing, isn't it?

By the way, I've often thought that coffee and barley tea taste similar. Coffee and barley tea are roasted in the same process, so they end up tasting similar after processing.

So, if there are a lot of canephora beans in the blend, it will taste like barley tea. I knew that there was coffee that tasted like barley tea and coffee that didn't taste like barley tea, but I didn't know that was the case.

I once found a bottled coffee that tasted like barley tea, and I wanted to check its ingredients, but I couldn't remember what the bottled coffee was. I wonder what it was.

But I can't remember what that bottled coffee tasted like... The unidentified canned coffee that used to be sold in the vending machine in front of my house for 80 yen tasted like barley tea.

Metallica meets the Beatles

Beatallica, the "Metallica meets the Beatles" tribute band that plays Beatles songs in the style of Metallica, is going to release a new album this year.

If you know both the Beatles and Metallica, you will definitely enjoy this band.

I've only recently discovered Beatallica, and at the time, I thought I wrote in this note that "Metallica meets the Beatles" used to be the term for The Wildhearts, but I can't seem to find that article. I can't find the article. But I can't seem to find the article. I just thought I wrote it, but maybe it was just a dream and an illusion.

When The Wildhearts first came out, they were called "Metallica meets the Beatles". The difference between The Wildhearts and Beatallica is not that they were covering the Beatles, but that The Wildhearts' songs are "heavy, intense and irregular riffs like Metallica with catchy melodies like the Beatles".

I haven't listened to The Wildhearts in a long time, and I knew that Danny was back, but I wondered what he's been up to lately, and I found out that he's releasing an album in 2019.

It seems to have a good reputation, so I might as well buy it.

By the way, I've seen a lot of bands and artists live in Japan, and The Wildhearts' show at Shibuya-AX was one of the top three. I've seen many bands and artists live, but The Wildhearts' show at SHIBUYA-AX was one of the top three. I've seen The Wildhearts live a few times, but that time was the best.

SHIBUYA-AX used to be a great venue. It's not there anymore.

His real name is "Prince

This is great news, isn't it?

British Man Drunkenly Officially Changes His Name to Celine Dion

Changing her name to "Celine Dion" in a drunken stupor... even I have to take my hat off to her for such a daring act. I heard that she was so drunk at the time that she doesn't remember doing the name change procedure at all, but I wonder if she was really just drunk. I wonder if she really just got drunk and changed her name to "Celine Dion. Is it just me, or does it smell like a conspiracy? I heard that he went online to change his name, but I wonder if it's that easy.

I wonder if it's that easy. But he's going to continue living as "Celine Dion" for now, and he seems to be enjoying it, so I guess it's all good. Well, that's good, that's good. I'm really glad that he was able to change his name to "Celine Dion"!

Then I thought to myself, "You know, a lot of foreign musicians change their names (like Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. to Nikki Sixx)," and suddenly I wondered if Prince was the real name of that (musician) Prince. I wondered if Prince was his real name, because that's exactly what it sounds like. And when I looked him up, I found out that his real name is Prince Rogers Nelson, in other words, his real name is Prince and he is a true "prince. His real name is "Prince"... even I have to take my hat off to him for his audacity.

That's the Prince.

The answer is orange wine

I thought today was Sunday, but to my surprise, it's Monday. I wish I could have shown you guys how handsome I was when I realized it, because I was so shocked that my jaw fell off and my eyes went white.

By the way, did everyone read yesterday's article?

At the end of the article, I wrote, "If anyone knows what would happen if I used green muscat to make wine using the red wine method (fermenting the skin and seeds whole), please let me know. You are too kind! Thank you very much!

According to the article, "wine made from white grapes using the red wine method" is called "orange wine. I don't seem to see many Muscat-based orange wines, but I'm pretty sure that green Muscats are also white grapes, so they can be orange wine.

Well, that's refreshing. I did some research and found out that "orange wine" has become a bit of a trend. I didn't know that at all.

For me, red wine tends to linger the next day, but I wonder how orange wine is. Although it's made in the same way as red wine, white grapes don't have anthocyanins in their skins, so they don't turn red. Instead, yellow pigments are leached out, which gives the wine a color similar to orange. If anthocyanins are the cause of the "next day lingering", then it should be "next day lingering" just like white wine. I've heard that orange wine has a unique flavor that is different from both red and white wine, and I'd like to try it.

Anyway, thank you very much, Enohui♪!

Red and White Wine with Muscat

Not long ago, I would have answered "beer" to the question "what is your favorite drink? I used to immediately answer "beer" when asked what my favorite drink was, but lately I'm at a loss for an answer. But it's not like I've woken up to a new kind of sake. or "I want to drink this! It's just that I don't have that craving anymore. I wonder if I'm going to die.

By the way, the difference between red and white wine depends on the method of production (red wine is made by fermenting the whole grape, including the skins and seeds, while white wine is made by removing the skins and fermenting the squeezed juice), but I wondered what would happen if red wine was made from Muscat grapes. I looked it up and found that red wine made from Muscat Bailey A seems to be the major one. However, this "Muscat Bailey A" is not the green one that we are familiar with as food in Japan, but a black grape.

When I looked further into it, I found white wine, but I couldn't find any red wine, or any wine made with a method classified as red. I found white wine, but I couldn't find any red wine, or wine made by a method classified as red.

I wonder what it would be like if you fermented the whole green Muscat, including the skin and seeds? If anyone knows, please let me know.

Angel's chirp

We are already into the second day of the year 2681, how is everyone doing? I hope you are surviving with your feet firmly planted on the ground. You can't be sitting on the kotatsu in a sloppy outfit, occasionally eating a tangerine, and playing with your phone while scratching your ass, ma'am!

As for me, the big wave of appetite that has been surging since the latter half of December hasn't stopped at all. I don't know what's wrong with me. I don't weigh myself, and I don't even look in the mirror most of the time, so I don't know, but there's a possibility that I've already gained a lot of weight thanks to this big wave, and that my figure has completely changed. I'm scared.

I just remembered that there was a scene like that in Yusuke Kishi's "Tenshi no Chiruri". I don't remember the exact flow of the story.

I know it's sudden, but if I were asked to name one author I like, I would answer "Yusuke Kishi". His works are quite hit or miss, and his writing itself is not as appealing as Shotaro Ikenami's, but he is an author who can "win" with his settings. When he comes up with the setting, it's already decided that the story will be a home run, and when he misses it, the setting has already missed it, so there's nothing he can do about it. But the ability to come up with an overwhelming setting is an irreplaceable charm. It's more like "home run or strikeout" than "single hit in every at bat. It's more like "KO or get KO'd" than "win every match by decision. It's "kill or be killed.

I've written about this somewhere before, but I like the stance of Yusuke Kishi when it comes to composition.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

When I was picking out a bottle of liquor at the supermarket, an elementary school girl ran in front of me and quickly took the bottle in front of me and put it in her father's basket.

I was swept away early in the New Year.

I couldn't get through "Anatomy of an Alternative Medicine," which I've been reading in my spare time, and I'm only about 1/3 of the way through it, so I thought, "I'll read it all at once today! I thought, "I'll read it all at once today!" but somehow I ended up starting to read "Golden Apples of the Sun," which I bought afterwards.

I'm lost at the beginning of the new year.

The "Golden Apple of the Sun" is a collection of short stories, but I can't understand the ending of the sixth story, "Invisible Boy. If you can tell me the meaning of this ending, please contact me as soon as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation this year.
