Love, Sadness, and Kanashibari

Well, it's New Year's Eve. This year, the 2680th year of the Emperor, will be over in a few hours. But I'm already in a hurry, and I'm afraid that it's going to be January 3rd before I know it.

Well, to sum up this year, I would say that Youtube is a big part of it. I didn't watch so much Youtube before, and more than anything, this year I've been working hard on releasing Music Video and Lyric Video as a transmitter.

The Music Video and Lyric Video that I released this year are as follows.

Beast (Lyric video)

Hetero no Kami (Lyric video)

Bleed (Lyric video)

Byakuya ni krazye (Lyric video)

Lead no desire (Lyric video)

Speed mad age (Lyric video)

Evil Bullet (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Hard Freeze (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Every time I release one of these videos, I have learned, realized, laughed, cried, sometimes gently, sometimes harshly, and sometimes mischievously gained love and sadness.

Next year (the 2681st year of the Emperor's reign), I would like to look for the remaining one other than the love and sadness.

Thank you again for your help this year.

I hope to see you again next year.

Have a happy new year.

Hard Freeze" is now available.

When we released the Music Video for "Hard Freeze" the other day, there was a time lag between the release of the music video and the announcement because we had more important things to inform you about than the announcement, but it's okay this time.

Today, KANASHIBARI have released the music video for "Hard Freeze".

As you can see, the lyrics are so long that I have a hard time remembering them, or rather, I can't remember all of them yet because they are so long.

If you have the courage to read such a huge length of lyrics, please use Google Photo, which I have been using randomly as inertia takes over.

Hard Freeze lyrics

Hard Freeze is a song I wrote myself, but for some reason, when I think of this song, I think of FLATBACKER in one set. I don't think there are any similar FLATBACKER songs, but I don't know why.

Spicy Giant Corn Chili Pepper and Garlic Pepper

As I wrote in "The Lying Thieving Cat," I'm determined to ride the big wave of appetite with the skill of a professional surfer, but late last night, I was as hungry as a caterpillar, so I rushed out to the convenience store.

And then I found it! In a corner of 7-Eleven, there's a dangerous thing that's spreading its violent charm to the world!

It's a "Spicy Giant Corn Chili Pepper and Garlic Pepper". In a quiet 7-Eleven store, the only place I could hear the sound of "gogo gogo gogo..." was where this product was placed. Maybe.

As you can see from the photo, this is an empty bag. I realized that I hadn't taken a picture of the empty bag after I had almost rushed home from the convenience store and devoured it with all my might, so I took a picture of the empty bag.

The giant cone alone is sure to be on the "Ultimate Menu" of the Tozai Shimbun's 100th anniversary project, which the entire company is working on. It's no exaggeration to say that this is the "ultimate and supreme" menu, isn't it, Mr. Ohara?

Oh no, it's not good. Maybe it's time the whole world started to realize the overwhelming deliciousness of giant corn.

New Version Revision

News of a book with a rather intriguing title came in.

New edition of the book "The Music Lover's Brain: Why People Get Hooked on Music" released

It's called "The Music Lover's Brain: Why People Get Hooked on Music," and I'm really attracted to it.

When I went to Amazon's product page, I found out that it will be released on January 17, 2021, and is currently available for pre-order. However, on the same page, in the "People who checked this item also checked these items" section, there was a book with the same title but a different cover.

I wondered what was going on, and when I looked at it, I found that it was the same title, same author and translator, but the release date was March 1, 2010. Then I noticed that the new edition is a "new edition," as it says at the top of the title. In other words, it's a book that has already been released, but it's being released again with a new look.

So, what about the contents? When I hear the word "new edition," I feel as if the contents have been revised, but to be precise, such a thing is called "revision" because the edition is changed. But to be precise, it's called a "revision" because it's a change of edition. A "new edition" purely means a "new publication," which may or may not have additions and corrections.

I don't know if this new edition is revised or not, but it's not always better to be revised, so I might as well buy the old edition. I don't know if the new edition will have any additions or corrections, but if it will have significant additions and corrections, I'd like to wait for the new edition.

Peter Pan day

The first thing you do when you wake up is to excitedly search for the date of the day, right?

Of course, when I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was to wonder what day it was, and while listening to the chirping of the birds and the murmuring of the stream, I suddenly turned on my smartphone, opened the browser, and typed in "12/27".

Needless to say, this was a spontaneous action out of "reverence and pure interest in today, a day that will never come again," and not something I did after I was about to write this note, thinking, "Oh, I have nothing to write today.

That's right. Today is the only day that can come, and it will never come. Therefore, we should bite, step, and grip this day with sincerity...

So, what day is "December 27th?" It is "Peter Pan Day.

You all know about Peter Pan, don't you? It's a children's story based on a play written by James Matthew Barrie, a Scottish writer in England in the early 20th century. I thought it was a very old story, but it was written in the 20th century. It's so recent.

In the story, there are children called "Lost Boys" living in Neverland, but there are no adults among the "Lost Boys. There are no adults among the "Lost Boys" because Peter Pan kills them before they become adults. This is not an urban legend or a gossip, but it is described in the book "Peter Pan and Wendy" published in 1911, "When the children grew up, Peter killed them to weed them out because it was against the rules.

It's a refreshing day today, isn't it?

"Deadly Bullets" is now available

As some of you may have noticed, the Music Video for "Thug" was released on Youtube Kanashibari channel two days ago.

I really wanted to let you know as soon as possible. In any case, yesterday and the day before, I had to write an article about a serious alert that I really had to prioritize, so the announcement was delayed for two days. I'm really sorry about that.

In yesterday's and the day before yesterday's articles, I tried to make the top image a thumbnail of Youtube's "Bulletproof", and pasted the video of "Bulletproof" in the beginning of the article without any context... I wonder if you noticed this dying message of mine (even though I'm not dead).

I hope you've noticed my dying message (I'm not dead, but I'm still alive). Maybe some of you have been hesitant because I didn't make an official announcement, but it's okay now. No one will blame you if you repeatedly play the video of "Bullet" until your computer, smartphone, or even the Internet bursts into flames, and click the "high rating" button until your fingers burst (but be sure to hit the "high rating" button an odd number of times).

The lyrics are available here. I've written before that "Google Photo is finally going down the drain, so I'm switching to another service! But of course, I forgot all about it after that, and so I've been using Google Photos without any further progress, just letting inertia take over.

Are you all right?

I hope everyone who survived yesterday, the most dangerous day of the year, was safe.

A suspicious person wearing red and white clothes roamed the sky on a sled pulled by an animal with a red nose, repeatedly trespassed into private houses, and even left suspicious objects in the house (if there were socks, they would put them in the socks).

It is said that small children are especially vulnerable. I'm sure you all learned this when you were children, but don't take things from strangers. You never know what kind of dangerous things might be in it.

Also, if you receive something from an individual, you may be subject to gift tax. If you receive something from a corporation, you are not subject to gift tax, but you may be subject to income tax. That's dangerous. The gift tax is applied to the amount after deducting the 1.1 million yen exemption, so in some cases, Kanashibari can take a portion of the gift so that it does not exceed the exemption amount. In that case, please let me know.

By the way, the world is full of dangers.

The most terrifying and dangerous night in the world

Do any of you know what day it is today? Or rather, do any of you "not know"?

Yes, that's right. As I wrote last year, today is the day that, once a year, a suspicious person in a red and white dress with a beard roams the sky in the middle of the night on a sled pulled by an animal with a red nose, and trespasses on private houses as many times as there are children.

Flight Radar 24, which constantly monitors the skies above the world, has already confirmed the suspicious flying objects.

Santa" on flight radar to hit Japan at noon on the 24th, passing near Kanto-Koshinetsu

According to this article, it has already landed in Japan from the vicinity of Murakami City in Niigata Prefecture, with a cruising speed of 40 knots (about 74km/h) and a cruising altitude of 38,000ft (about 11,582m). What the hell is going on! I'm scared! Help me, Santa Claus!!!!

Furthermore, I thought that today would be the day with the fewest vacancies in love hotels throughout the year, but the shocking fact is that the most crowded day for love hotels is the "last day of work". I can't sleep for only eight hours tonight because I'm so curious about what people do in such places after they finish their work. Help me, Santa!

The Price Difference Big Money Monster

For many years, I almost never drank chuhai, but recently (in the past year or so) I've been buying it a lot when I'm having a drink at home.

I think "Kodawari Sakaba Lemon Sour" is probably the most purchased canned chuhai by me.

I buy my drinks at the nearest convenience store, but when I went to the supermarket the other day, I peeked into the liquor section without thinking and was surprised.

This chuhai is priced at 192 yen (excluding tax) at the convenience store, but at the supermarket it was priced at 145 yen (excluding tax). So I went to the supermarket next door and checked the price, and it was also 145 yen (excluding tax).

The price of beer is basically the same no matter where you buy it, so I was really shocked because I've always been a beer drinker and thought that the price of alcohol is the same no matter where you buy it.

50 yen may not sound like much, but for the money you spend buying 300 bottles at a convenience store, you can buy 400 bottles at a supermarket. It's big money. You can't underestimate it at all.

The price of beer (maybe even happoshu and third beer) is almost the same everywhere, but why is it that the price of chuhai varies so much from store to store? Or, conversely, why is there no difference in the price of beer no matter where you buy it?

A lying, thieving cat

For the past few days, I've been so hungry that I can hardly stand it.

I just wrote the other day that I've been trying to cut down on the amount of food I eat for lunch, but if anyone who read that article saw me now, they would probably shout with all their might, "You lying, thieving cat! "You lying, thieving cat! You lying thieving cat! Of course, I can't even hear myself say that. I'm a liar, but I'm not a thieving cat, but I'll take it in stride.

It's been about ten days since I cut back on my lunch. It's been about ten days since I cut down on my lunch intake, and I started drowning in a wave of crazy appetite. My appetite is so big that even some armchair boy would turn pale and tremble. I wonder how long it's been since my stomach has been growling.

Could this be a rebound? I've never been on a diet before, so I don't really know. If it is a rebound, did I lose the weight once? When I cut back on lunch, I still ate breakfast and dinner as usual. I'm not in the habit of weighing myself, so I don't know how my weight has changed. Was I on a diet without anyone knowing?

Incidentally, there is a theory that the human brain sees weight loss as a life threatening event, which causes rebounding. I'm sure there are many theories, and I'm guessing that the cause can't be narrowed down to just one, but it seems to be very convincing.

I guess that means my brain is in a life-threatening state because I've been eating so little these days, and it's sending out a lot of "I have to eat, I have to eat, or I'll die! He seems to be a very bad commander.

Well, I'll just go with my instincts and eat everything. Bring me all the food on the menu, from one end to the other!

Placebo

I'm currently reading through "Anatomy of Alternative Medicine" in every possible gap of time, and I can't help but look at "Golden Apples of the Sun" which is standing by to be read next.

At any rate, I've read through the part where the results of scientific clinical trials concluded that the effects of "acupuncture" are almost entirely due to the placebo (placebo) effect.

So I guess the acupuncture that cured me of my back pain in one shot was actually a placebo effect.

What I'm wondering is that the same practitioner also examined me on another occasion for the neck muscle discrepancy I wrote about in the article above. Not with acupuncture, but with an osteopathic technique. I think my trust in that practitioner was quite high, but that one had no effect at all. If it was due to the placebo effect, it would have cured me, too.

Well, I can't confirm or deny with just one experience. It is because of this that "scientific clinical trials" are conducted in order to obtain reliable conclusions.

By the way, there used to be a band called Placebo, didn't there? I never really got into the band, but for some reason I had one of their CDs, and when I went to visit my friends' houses, there was a very high probability that they would have that CD, and they would always reply that they hadn't really listened to it. I wonder if that was a kind of placebo effect...

Supergrass

Supergrass has a lot of good songs, don't they? I used to listen to the two albums in the top picture quite a lot. I think they are the first and the second.

There are some bands that I love their music and have listened to their albums a lot, but I don't know their members' names, faces, nationalities, or even their instrumentation. I really don't know anything about them except for the songs on these two albums.

I haven't listened to them much lately, but I suddenly remembered that they broke up in 2010, and then reunited in 2019. So it looks like they are still active. I thought it was a 3-piece band because the cover of the album I own shows a 3-piece band, but it seems to be a 4-piece band at least now.

I had a vague idea that it must be a British band, but it turned out to be a British band. It's very "Britpop", isn't it?

I had never seen the music video before, yeah.

This is the second song on the first album. This is the second song on the first album, and I like the strange "just in time" feeling of this song. I don't usually think about it, but it makes me want to cover it.

This is also the second song on the second album. I'm sure it will be heavy live. It's really cool.

Don't say five kinds

When you find a new flavor of Black Thunder in a convenience store, don't you buy it?

Today, I found another one called "Moist Premium", so I bought it.

But I bought a new flavor called "Imokempi Thunder" yesterday, too.

I also bought a "Corn Potage Thunder" a while ago.

Oh, by the way, I also bought some "bliss butter".

This rush of new flavors makes me wonder if it's finally time for Black Thunder to take over the world! When I looked at the official website, I found that there are five types of Black Thunder currently on sale, including the four listed above and the original Black Thunder. It seems like there's an avalanche of Black Thunder out there.

I think there are about five kinds that are sold all the time.In addition to that, there are other types such as "Cornflake Flavor",

"Gorigorigorilla Thunder",

 "Uji Green Tea",

and "Honey Butter Thunder" crowding around in the photo folder of my smartphone.

I don't mind if there are always 30 kinds of products available, not just 5.

I don't know what's going on anymore

It's so cold. It's so cold that I don't know what's going on anymore.

Until about three years ago, I used to travel around Tokyo almost entirely by car (if I didn't drink alcohol). Riding a single car in this cold weather seems like an unimaginable hardship, but until three years ago, I was willingly throwing myself into that hardship. I don't understand it at all.

By the way, when I say it's cold in December or January, people often say, "Actually, the coldest month is February! But the coldest month is January. To be precise, the lowest temperature of the year is usually recorded in February, but the average lowest temperature of the month is lower in January. After 10 minutes of riding, I found myself saying "oooohhhhh" without even realizing it.

I was curious to see the past data from the Japan Meteorological Agency, and I found that January is much colder than February.

Japan Meteorological Agency

I was surprised to see that the average minimum temperature in January has been below 0℃ almost every year until 1963. That's just too cold... I don't know what's going on here.

Of course, if you run with the wind blowing, the temperature you feel will be much lower than the actual temperature. It is often said that "for every 1m/s increase in wind speed, the sensory temperature decreases by about 1℃", but that seems to be a very approximate story, so I wondered what the truth was.

"WC" stands for "Windchill", i.e. the temperature you feel, "TF" for temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, and "vmi/h" for wind speed in miles per hour. I hope you'll refer to this formula when you're calculating your temperature!

Fried broccoli

I've written before in the "Golden Spoon" about the disaster that occurred when I drank coffee out of a cup of kobu tea without washing it. It's strange.

I heard that gum is surprisingly high in calories because it contains a lot of sugar, but if you keep chewing it for about 30 minutes, you can consume those calories and make it plus or minus zero. So, if you feel like you really need to consume 5 more calories, you might want to chew on something you have around you for about 30 minutes.

I heard a rumor that fried broccoli is very good. I've heard rumors that fried broccoli is very good, and it certainly sounds good when I imagine it. I'd like to try it, but I don't see it around much. I've never even seen the words "fried broccoli" or "fried broccoli" on a menu in my entire life, let alone the actual product. If it's so good, why don't fast food restaurants and pubs serve it? Or maybe it's on the menu but I just passed it by. No, it's definitely good - fried broccoli.

Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro

I found an amazing video document. Lupin III really existed, didn't he?

I can't think of anyone else but Lupin III driving a FIAT 500, can I? I thought Lupin III was just an anime character and didn't really exist in this world, but I never thought he really existed. I was so surprised.

Someone must have filmed Lupin and Jigen on their way to the Principality of Cagliostro in Europe, where they came across a girl in a wedding dress who was being chased by someone, and a car chase ensued.

This is quite a valuable piece of footage. It seems that the incident involving the goth bills happened in 1968, but it's a beautiful image for that time. The color of the car model and the car body seems to be different, but I guess it's just the light.

Incidentally, the catchphrase for the film adaptation of this goth bill incident was "Even faster! Even more thrilling! Even more blurry! I heard that the catchphrase was "More speed!

More speed! I wonder if it's a reference to "just blur"? Or does it mean, "Blur out in a way that suits the onomatopoeia of 'swoosh'! Or is it a combination of the two? Or is it a combination of the two? It's too difficult for a catchphrase...

I want to eat a pile of spaghetti meatballs wrapped around a fork...

Sound of thunder

After I wrote the article on the Butterfly Effect, I picked up this book, The Golden Apple of the Sun. This is a collection of science fiction short stories written by Ray Bradbury, and I had read "The Sound of Thunder" included in this collection when I was a child, so I decided to read the original story again.

I read "The Sound of Thunder" when I was a child, probably in elementary school, and of course it was a children's book, but the ending was so horrible that it left an impression on me. I think the title was "The Sound of a Hammer". I think the title was "The Sound of a Hammer," and the unfamiliar word "hammer" gave me an eerie feeling.

I won't go into details because it would be a spoiler, but it's a science fiction short story based on the so-called "butterfly effect," and the ending made me think "Oh..." even as a child. Oh..." even as a child. I always thought that the "butterfly effect" came from the story of the novel "Sound of Thunder". But in fact, it was the other way around, and the "Sound of Thunder" was derived from the "Butterfly Effect. The Butterfly Effect itself was proposed by some meteorologist, and it would have been romantic if it was a scientific concept that started from a science fiction novel.

Incidentally, there is a movie called "The Sound of Thunder". However, when I saw the synopsis of the movie, it seems that the original story has been heaped up, and it seems that they are not similar. I think this story is better written as a short story with a sharp edge.

Pre-reading Comments

I received a copy of Simon Singh's "Anatomy of an Alternative Medicine" and started reading it immediately. I've only read the preface, but I already know the main idea and conclusion of the book, as there are plenty of spoilers and impressions of the book lying around.

This book is a scientific study and evaluation of alternative medicine such as acupuncture and chiropractic, and as for my own experience with alternative medicine, I have been impressed by its effectiveness on two occasions.

The first time was acupuncture for a sprained back. The day after I got it, I could hardly walk, but I managed to get to a local acupuncture clinic by clinging to a single car, and after receiving acupuncture, I recovered at once. I was told that acupuncture does not directly cure the bad part of the body, but encourages the body's power to recover. By the way, right after I got acupuncture, I was anemic and couldn't get up for a while.

The second time was for physical therapy for a mis-sleep. I went to an osteopath because I had been experiencing pain in the back of my neck for a few years, and it was restricting my movement. I went to an osteopath, who gave me a rather standard treatment and then said, "It's healed, right? I told him that I still had some pain in the back of my body, and it was amazing from there. I was repeatedly attacked like a Mongolian chop by Killer Khan, to the point where my neck was seriously ripped off, and the treatment for that day ended with me looking like a rag with no idea what was going on. For a few days after I returned home, the pain in my neck was so bad that I couldn't even move it, but when the pain subsided, the original misuse of my neck was completely healed. Incidentally, right after the treatment, I had anemia and could not get up for a while.

Since these are the two so-called alternative treatments that I recognize as "definitely effective," my current conclusion is that "alternative treatments that cause anemia are effective.

I wonder how reading this book will change that. Or will it not?

The Coming Wave of Digitization

I'm sure you read about 100 or 200 books a month. I know that. I know that you are reading about 300 or 400 books a month.

So, what do you use to read those books? I mean "e-books" or "paper books"?

I'm not greedy and I don't want to have more things around me, but I always buy paper books. I always buy paper books because "the screen of a smartphone is too small to read a large amount of text.

I've already cancelled my iPad because I don't use it often enough, so if I want to read e-books, I'll use my phone or an e-reader, but I think it's hard to "glance over a two-page spread" on a phone screen. Well, I've never bought an e-book before, so I'm just imagining. Also, I think it would be a pain to go back and read the previous part of the book while keeping the current reading position. I'm sure there's a bookmark function for that anyway, though.

The problem with e-readers is that there are so many different types. It's a pain in the ass to figure out which one is best for something you don't really feel the need for. If there were only one type of e-reader in the world, I would buy one and give it a try.

By the way, a little bit of research shows that the publishing market (sales) in 2019 will be "4:1" for paper books and e-books. It seems that e-books are expanding their market share rapidly, so it may not be long before the ratio reverses.

By the way, in the music market, the ratio of "music software (packaged): music distribution (digital)" is 76:24, or about 3:1, so it seems that the digitization of music is more advanced. However, there's not as much difference between music and books as I thought.

I think I'll try buying an e-book next time.

Oh, Simon Singh's "Anatomy of Alternative Medicine" (paper book) has arrived.

I saw "Yummy Shinbo" in the Youtube recommendations, so I couldn't help but watch it, and now my recommendations are filled with "Yummy Shinbo". I've been attacked by this hell many times before, but this time it seems to be "Yummy Shinbo Hell".

I thought it was an illegal upload since it was footage from the TV series, but it seems that the "Delicious Shinbo Official Channel" has been officially uploading it on their website lately. I wonder what they are aiming for. I wonder what they're aiming for. That's too scary!

Speaking of "Yummy Shinbo", there are many things that happen in "Yummy Shinbo", such as taking sushi to a university hospital for a CT scan, explaining the taste of flatfish as "shakkiripon", Miss Kurita eating all the rare food prepared for the guest of honor at a banquet, proudly bringing sake to a western restaurant saying that "wine doesn't go well with seafood", and a scumbag being the deputy director of a newspaper. It's a manga that is popular for its crazy scenes that strike fear into the hearts of all who read it. It is a popular manga with crazy scenes that strike fear into the hearts of all who read it.

Looking through the uploaded videos, it seems that there are 38 videos that are 12-13 minutes long. It would take me about 480 minutes to watch them all, or 8 hours. Okay, I can do it in a day...

Butterfly Effect

I wrote about Simon Singh's "Anatomy of an Alternative Medicine" in "This Crush of Mine", and of course, I snapped it up right then and there.

This is one of the advantages of writing a note every day, isn't it? By writing about what comes to mind, it encourages action. If I hadn't taken the trouble to write about the news that "Enigma from 70 years ago was discovered on the ocean floor," I probably wouldn't have snapped up "Alternative Medicine Anatomy.

If I hadn't bothered to write about the news that "Enigma was discovered 70 years ago," I wouldn't have snapped up "Alternative Medicine Anatomy.

⇒I have to write an article about a small thought that I would normally forget immediately.

⇒I can't help it, so I'll write about it.

⇒When I write an article, the little idea becomes concrete in my mind.

⇒Take action

It's like the "butterfly effect. Incidentally, the "butterfly effect" refers to the idea that the flap of a butterfly's wings in one place can influence the weather in a faraway place. In Japanese terms, it's like "if the wind blows, the bucket shop will make money.

The interesting thing about writing a note every day is that there is a good chance that the outcome of the article will be unpredictable even for me.

Today, I realized that I had misunderstood the origin of the "butterfly effect", so I tried to write about it, and that's how I ended up here.

So, of course, I didn't go against the NOTE-derived butterfly effect, and bought a book again. More on that later.

Natto, a mixture of love and hate

For a while now, I've been feeling unusually sleepy after lunch, even though I'm not sleep deprived, so I've been trying to reduce the amount of lunch I eat. So I tried to reduce the amount of lunch I had.

Then, the sleepiness after lunch went away. And to my surprise, I didn't feel so hungry until dinner. I used to think, "If I skip lunch, I'll die of hunger in the evening! I had been thinking, "If I skip lunch, I'll die of hunger in the evening," but it didn't happen. I'm surprised.

But I've never been on a diet before in my life, so I've never practiced "intentionally skipping (reducing) lunch.

So when I looked up the effects of skipping meals, I found a lot of information on the subject. The information related to dieting is as good as I've ever seen, and I feel like I'm drowning in it.

Carbohydrates, in particular, are loved and hated, and they are the enemy of our eyes. There are so many ways to go on a "carbohydrate diet," and so much information about the dangers and dangers of carbohydrate diets, but how does a dieter find the right way to go on a diet? It seems impossible to try them all. I wonder if they just decide to go for it. I feel like if you do a genetic test, you can narrow down the most effective method to some extent.

By the way, I don't get tired of eating natto every day, it's an amazing food.

This chest crush

In the same way that your heart flutters unconditionally when you see a new flavor of Black Thunder, your heart flutters unconditionally when you hear the word "code". It's the so-called order of nature.

Nazi code machine "Enigma" found by divers at the bottom of the sea

As you know, the Enigma is a rotor-type encryption machine used by Nazi Germany during World War II. The Enigma, which had been sleeping on the ocean floor for more than 70 years, has been found. I thought that the actual Enigma was commonly existing, but it's not.

I thought so, and when I looked it up, it seems to be extremely rare, although it does exist. 5 years ago, an Enigma sold at auction was sold for about 44 million yen. It is said that there are only 150 of them in the world. 150 units in the world is very rare, but considering that it's not a practical machine, it doesn't seem to be as rare as it should be, but that's probably because I'm a spoiled brat.

By the way, speaking of cryptography, there's a famous book called "Cryptanalysis" written by Simon Singh, which I read almost 10 years ago and found very interesting, but like all the other books I've read, I don't remember most of its contents. I read Simon Singh's big bestsellers "Cryptography", "Creation of the Universe" and "Fermat's Last Theorem" in succession, but I think it was "Fermat's Last Theorem" that struck me the most. Of course, I don't remember the content of the book.

When it gets cold, I want to read a book that is worth reading. I would like to read other books by Simon Singh. I would like to read "Anatomy of an Alternative Medicine", which I haven't read yet. Of course, I will forget about it completely.

Boss feeling

It's a BOSS feeling, isn't it?

I'm talking about effects pedals.

BOSS is a leading Japanese brand of effects pedals by Roland, and there is definitely a BOSS-like sound to it. I used to use BOSS BD-2 (Blues Driver) a long time ago when I was using JazzMaster, but I don't think I've used any BOSS effect pedals since I started using humbucker guitars. I don't like humbuckers because I think they have more of a "BOSS feel" to them.

Then I happened to find an interesting video.

According to this video, changing the solder on the board and the wiring materials used will eliminate (reduce) the BOSS feeling. Even if the difference in sound that can be seen in the video is small, what's important is the player's experience. The person playing it says, "Oh! Whether it feels good or not has a huge impact on my performance.

Although I'm not good at the BOSS-esque sound, there's no doubt that BOSS effectors are extremely excellent, and I sometimes wonder if I can't use them well. I'm always frustrated when I'm a humbucker.

But I've been thinking for a long time that the so-called "BOSS feeling" might be greatly influenced by the way it looks. In my opinion, the "BOSS feel" is something like a square sound, but not necessarily a sharp angle. But it's not a sharp angle; it looks like a bento box. And it's a little bit choppy." This is the same as the appearance of a BOSS compact effects unit. I'm wondering if that visual image is a major factor in making it sound like that.

HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead

I'm sure you must have dreamed at least twice or thrice about what the band would be like if HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead were combined. But I can't stop plummeting with surprise that Lemmy actually offered to play a band in Hanoi when Rasul died and Sam Jaffa left the band, and that "Motorhead will be the backing band".

Hanoi Rocks: "When Razzle died, Motorhead offered me a backing band

There are many starry-eyed bands influenced by HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead, but to be honest, HANOI ROCKS and Motörhead don't have much in common. There is a video of Michael Monroe (vo. of HANOI ROCKS) jumping in, but I don't really get it. Michael Monroe doesn't seem to fit in with songs that are too macho. You know, I don't think he's the right guy for you.

But Michael Monroe singing a Motörhead song is not so great, but Lemmy playing a HANOI ROCKS song is not so great. I wonder who was playing drums in Motörhead at the time. That's right around the time when Filthy left, right? Whoever the drummer was, if Lemmy played "Cheyenne" or "11th Street Kids," which is one of the most heartbreaking songs in Hanoi, I'd die in agony. But it could be scarily cool, I guess.

The Current State of Kanashibari Radio

How many of you remember the podcast program "Kanashibari Radio"? It's one of the podcasts I started around August of this year with the idea of "Let's develop a second, third, or even a hundredth expansion of daily articles in order to maximize the effectiveness and value of this note.

This podcast program used to play Kanashibari's music after reading out the contents of this note's articles by automatic speechreading software.

But when it was discovered that Spotify Podcast couldn't play music, the only two distributors were Apple Podcast and Google Podcast, and SoundCloud, which I was using as a distribution server, had a capacity limit if it was a free version, the project was abandoned.

Kanashibari Radio, you know.

I was actually experimenting with the Japanese version of "Kanashibari Radio" by distributing only Kanashibari songs every day. But it was only the music, so the contents of the note are no longer relevant at all. In order to deliver a song every day, you need to upload a song to SoundCloud, which is its server, but as I mentioned above, there is a limit to the capacity of SoundCloud. That's why we kept trying to keep a total of 10 songs uploaded to SoundCloud, and replaced one song every day. That way, a different song would be available every day, and we wouldn't get caught in the space limit.

Aside from the effect of the podcast distribution, SoundCloud itself, which I'm using as a server, has been gaining a lot of followers recently, little by little. I think they're probably all from overseas, and since we've only been using SoundCloud as a server, we haven't been doing any advertising at all.

We don't care if they listen to us directly from SoundCloud or through podcasts, so we're grateful for that. Maybe this is the point we should focus on, but we don't know what to do with SoundCloud.

Why it's commonplace

Have you seen the lyric video for "Speed Mad Age" released yesterday? If you haven't, hurry up and watch it. Quick! Hurry! Before the thing gets nicked!

Speaking of music videos, one of the biggest differences between music videos is the inclusion or exclusion of the artist's name or song title in the video. As a viewer, it doesn't really matter to me, though. In my case, a long time ago, I used to ask a video editor, "Can I have the data for the song title and band logo? It was only when I was told, as a matter of course, that I realized this.

If you're given the choice of "To include the name of the artist or the name of the song or not to include it" when you're not thinking about it, most people will probably say "Yes". I think it would be a waste of time if you don't put it in..." or something like that.

Of course it doesn't matter if you include it or not, but I felt that many filmmakers think it's natural to include the name of the band or song in a music video without thinking about it, so I looked up music videos of various artists and bands a while ago.

I found that, at least as far as the music videos are concerned, domestic artists tend to put the name of the artist or song in their videos, while foreign artists often do not put the name of the artist or song in their videos.

We cannot interview the artists themselves, so we do not know why. I can't form a hypothesis, but I can only wonder if Japanese people are that meticulous, so I can't form a hypothesis.

I don't know what it is, but this phenomenon is happening around me at home and abroad.

Well, it's an argument that won't lead anywhere, but I made this "Speed Frenzy Age" without the band or song title!
