The Beast

Finally, the third song. I've added English subtitles to "Beasts" as well.

You can "turn on/off" by clicking on the subtitle icon on the leftmost side of the icons lined up at the bottom right of the screen when watching on a PC, or the "cc" icon at the top right of the screen when watching on a smartphone.

This song was easy, yeah. After all, the A melody is just shouting English to begin with (no need for English translation!). It's just that the chorus says, "The shiny black back splits, wings grow, new wings grow.

But no matter how easy it seems, there is always a problem when you actually do it.

That's the title this time. There is a place for the English translation of the title and summary field, but I wonder how it will look on the actual screen.

Well, anyway, I have to fill in English translations of the title and summary, but the title "Beast" is "The Beast" after all, isn't it?

This song is not "Beast", "Beast" or "Beast", but "Beast" in katakana. I think such characters and sounds of words are important, but in English translation, it's "beast" in any case. I think the English translation is "beast" in any case.

The word "beast" has an image of a "beast," so it's not quite right. But there's no way to accurately convey my "beast" feeling to English-speaking people, so I don't have a choice. I guess the language barrier is too thick.

So, if you want to see English subtitles, turn on the subtitles!

Speaking of "electric guitars

When I was watching Youtube, drooling with my mouth half-open like an idiot, I saw a video like "Introduction to Yonezu Genji's Guitar Phrase" as a recommendation, so of course I watched it while drooling with my mouth half-open like an idiot.

Oh, it's so cool! I was so impressed with the melody that I had forgotten that his songs even had a guitar in them, though. It's not only stylish, but also has some pretty rocking riffs, isn't it? I don't know his music much more than a few times on Youtube, so it was quite a shock to me.

And then there's Perfume's "Electro World", an artist who didn't have a guitar image, but left a strong guitar image in my mind.

I like Perfume quite a bit, but the guitar in this song is very impressive for some reason. Especially the riff that comes out at about 1:00 is the best. It's not much of a phrase, but it's the second or third thing that comes to mind when I think of "electric guitar" in this song.

However, for some reason, this song gets mixed up with "Dream Fighter", doesn't it?

I just found the music video for "Dream Fighter" by mistake, thinking it was a cool song with Perfume guitar, and I was at a loss to find out that it didn't have a cool guitar, ma'am. By the way, I think you should change the thumbnail image of "Dream Fighter".

Incredibly Vaseline

I discovered that my heels were incredibly crumbly. I'm not saying they're rusty, but the skin is on the level of fluffy.

I'm not interested in my heels in any way, so I found them by accident this time, but I have no idea if they've been like this for a long time. I have no idea if it has been like this for a long time or not. Or did it just happen all of a sudden?

I don't mind if the heel is rough and fluffy as long as it doesn't cause any harm, but it might become red tears if it is left untreated. I've never had a red tear, but it looks like it would be really painful. If it hurts, you have to go to a hypnotist (and doctor) to chant a spell "No pain, no pain~", so I applied Vaseline to it myself first.

The reason why I have Vaseline is because I was hospitalized for a month for a remodeling operation 3 or 4 years ago, and after I got out of the hospital, my surgical scars got stuck, so I applied Vaseline to try it on. So I put Vaseline on it to try it out, but it didn't work at all. I bought a large bottle of Vaseline at that time, so I had some left over.

So I applied it to my heels, and it worked great. I've only been applying it for two days, but it's already like a normal person's heels. It's just a little fluffy.

The effect of Vaseline is amazing.

By the way, it is said that if you apply Vaseline to the strings of a guitar or bass, the strings will last longer. In addition, if you apply it to the grooves of the nut, the strings will not go out of tune.

Vaseline is a wondrous thing.

Iai-Do vs. Hypnosis

As I wrote yesterday, the new strings of my bass are thick and hard. My muscles ache all over my body today for some reason, and I suspect it's because I played the thick and hard strings of the bass yesterday and played it as hard as I could. My back is aching. The thicker and harder strings on the bass, the more you use your back muscles.

Yesterday, I got a flu shot, probably the first time I've ever had a flu shot at the hospital. This is probably the first time I've had it at that hospital. The doctor at the hospital gave me the shot as fast as "iaido" without joking, and after he finished giving me the shot, I thought, "What? Did I just get a shot? And notice the level of awareness. Seriously.

So, to my surprise, the doctor at the hospital yesterday performed a spell on me before I typed. Maybe he is also a hypnotist. He chanted, "No pain, no pain, no pain," while fumbling and rubbing the target area and flicking it with his finger.

And after repeating this for quite a long time, he boldly announced "I'm going to hit it now!

Then, I didn't feel any pain at all. I really didn't feel any pain at all. I didn't know hypnosis works! Surprise! Well, it doesn't hurt because it's all over before you even know it's over at your regular hospital!

But that long spell time must be super scary for a child who is afraid of injections. There were Ultraman masks on the floor, so I wonder if they're going to wear them and chant "No pain, no pain~" when the child cries. That's pretty traumatic!

Thick and hard

As I wrote in "The Bass Strings Are Dead", after much deliberation about when to replace the bass strings, I finally bought new bass strings.

The strings themselves arrived on the 23rd, though. When I was ready to replace them, I realized that the nippers I had were too shoddy to cut the bass strings, or even the guitar strings.

The nippers I had were so crappy that it was extremely difficult to cut the bass strings, or even the guitar strings in some cases.

So I bought additional nippers in a hurry. It's an amazing nipper that can easily cut off bass strings or any other strings.

The awesome nippers arrived yesterday, so I immediately re-strung them!

I reupholstered it, but...

The strings are thick, aren't they?

It's definitely thicker than the last time, right?

The one I bought last time and the one I bought this time, the thickness is the same in the description, but the manufacturer is different. The last one is Ernie Ball, and this one is D'Addario. I heard a rumor that the D'Addario strings last longer than the Ernie Ball ones, so I tried it out a little bit.

No, no, I mean, they're thicker, aren't they?

Notetically, both are the same as "045, .065, .085, and .105". As for the sound, Ernie Ball is a little more sparkly or crisp, and D'Addario's is more pristine. The differences in this area are the same as with guitar strings. I prefer Ernie Ball for guitar strings, but I think I prefer D'Addario for bass guitar strings.

But they are thicker.

I wonder if it's not the thickness of the strings that makes them thicker, but the hardness of the strings. I've never felt any difference in the hardness of guitar strings from different manufacturers. I don't know if it's just my imagination. I don't know if it's just my imagination.

I don't know if this is possible. Did I mess up something that caused the tension of the strings to change when I put them on?

Guitar Riff Battle Uncle Hell

I'm going to hell again. Today, I'd like to share with you all some of the hell I've been going through.

I've been knocked down to hell by the monster known as "Youtube" one after another, but this one smells like the next hell.

For more on the hell that has been beaten down so far, read "Infinite Earshot Hour Hell" and "Kinnikuman Infinite Hell".

Anyway, this old man is comparing riffs of various bands, and it's quite interesting, isn't it? In the video above, he compares four famous grunge bands - Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Alice in Chains - and plays their guitar riffs.

There are so many videos of guitar riffs being played and compared, but I happened to find this one and the reason why I was interested in it is because of its excellent sound creation. If you don't know the original song, you won't understand, but he has a great grasp of the characteristics of the song. I didn't feel the sound was that similar in the other videos, so maybe it's just this "Grunge Riff Comparison" video.

I guess you can make the sound as similar as you want. I'm a bit jealous.

By the way, when I watch his various videos, I think his sound is most similar to the original song when he uses this SG. I feel that the sound is more similar to the original song when he uses this SG than when he uses other guitars. I'm sure this SG is the easiest for him to control. So this SG has become a part of his body, or he has become a part of it.

Also, here's something else that seemed a bit new to me.

This is a guitar riff battle between The Stones and The Beatles. I've often compared hard rock and metal guitar riffs, but I've never thought of the Stones and the Beatles as "guitar riffs," so this is strangely fresh. The Stones' guitar riffs are really cool when I listen to them like this.

Analog records are on a roll

In the UK, this year seems to have been the best year for record sales in the last 30 years.

The reason seems to be that "people who can't go to the shows are spending the money they used to spend to go to the shows for the records. I see, so they're also buying records rather than CDs. That's interesting.

I predicted earlier in the article "Surpassed by records, and it's going to be a tough battle in the future, because the people who want to listen to music easily will download it, and the people who want to enjoy listening to music at home will use records as an experience, so the CD is going to lose to digital distribution in terms of "convenience" and records in terms of "desire to own".

The people who buy music instead of going to shows will fall into the category of people who want to enjoy listening to music at home as an experience, so I think it's reasonable for them to go for records instead of CDs.

Also, I heard that sales of cassettes have increased by 85%, so I think it's fair to say that sales of cassettes are up as well. Listening to a record is a ritual, like putting it on a turntable and turning over the A-side and B-side," as I wrote in "Record Pulled Out of the Record Market," and cassettes have their A-side and B-side, and they have their own rituals, like rewinding.

What's great about this trend for artists is that they can listen to the songs in the order and between songs as the creator intended, since records and cassettes are not easy to skip (it's a hassle to skip). This is really a big advantage for the creator. Regardless of the shape and size of the medium, the ability to make people listen to the music from the beginning to the end in the way you want them to listen to it is a real attraction.

On TV again tonight

Today is Monday.

How many times have I written this out? That's right. Speaking of Monday, it's a horrible day for us, as we, Kanashibari, overwhelm the public airwaves and scatter the "Kanashibari" in all directions, even to the five organs.

11/23 26:30- Kanashibari appeared on Nara TV's "ROCK ON L7".

Well, I'm looking forward to it as always. I wonder what kind of Kanashibari we'll see today!

I mean, there are more important things to do than that. I've been in a state of astonishment since I woke up this morning, and my body hasn't stopped shaking. It's another holiday.

I've complained about it so many times in the past, but it's a holiday that gets repeated so easily. What in the world are people celebrating so much! Me too!

So I looked it up, and found out that Bandai released the first Tamagotchi on November 23, 1996. Well... the day Bandai released the first Tamagotchi... no wonder it's a holiday. Let's celebrate. Cheers!

Well, I think you should just turn all calendars red, don't you? It's always a holiday. You should make it a celebration month or a celebration year. Celebration of the century!

Since Google Photos will be paid for

Did you know that in Canasibari, the lyrics are openly shared with the world?

KANASHIBARI "Lyrics"

We are using Google Photos here. But it seems that Google Photos will be charged for more than 15 GB from June 2021.

I think I've written before that Google Photos is very convenient to use, but it's just not very good looking. I've been using it for a while now, though I've always wondered if there was something else I could do with it, but I haven't come up with anything in particular. I don't use 15 GB at all because I just put the lyrics as images, but this is a good opportunity for me to think of something concrete.

I don't need a lot of space, so it would be nice if it's free, looks like an album, is easy to upload and delete, and the order in which it's posted can be easily changed.

The first thing that comes to mind is to create an Instagram account for lyrics, but I'm not sure. It would look nice and easy to upload and delete. I'm not sure if I should think of Instagram as a lyric card for CDs, although it's tricky that the images are square instead of vertical in the list view of the profile screen. It's just that you can't change the order in which they are posted. It's too hard to tell which image is the lyric of what song.

I don't want to make a lyric page on the home page, but I'm not sure if it's convenient for me to do so.

Hmmm, it's a bit like "If you can make that one up, you can't make this one up. I want to make it look clever, though.

The Desire of Lead

Following "Byakuya ni Madie", I added English subtitles to the recently released "Lead's Desire".

As usual, it's difficult. To begin with, Japanese and English are different (of course).

The most annoying part of translating Japanese lyrics into English is probably "word order". Japanese is based on "subject + object + verb", while English is "subject + verb + object". Therefore, it's not so difficult to translate a whole sentence into English, but it's not so easy to translate a phrase with a melody.

For example, "The Night of Joy Dances Before Your Eyes" in "Lead's Desire" becomes "The Night of Joy Dances Before Your Eyes" in English, and I can't help but separate it into two parts.

Also, I overheard a rumor that "subtitles are avoided in English-speaking countries, and even if subtitles are added, they must be displayed only about 4 words at a time for people to read them. Four words at a time is a pretty big hurdle to overcome, isn't it?

I think it's not something that can be lumped together with "in English-speaking countries", but I think that "in English-speaking countries, there are less opportunities to come into contact with subtitles than in Japan". There are many countries that use English, you know.

So, if you want to watch it in English, turn on the subtitles!

You can turn it on or off by clicking on the subtitle icon on the left side of the icons in the lower right corner of the screen when watching on a PC, or the "cc" icon in the upper right corner of the screen when watching on a smartphone.

I tried posting for 365 days in a row

With yesterday's post "The Bass Strings Are Dead", I successfully completed 365 consecutive days of posting.

When you reach 100 or 200 days, you'll think, "Oh my god! Mwah! I don't have any feelings when I hear "365 days".

I'm sure writing notes has become an everyday activity for me. You don't go crazy with your eyes wide open over every little thing in your daily life, do you? That's how it feels.

If you're wondering, maybe note has already become a part of me, or maybe I've become a part of note. Or rather, I've become a part of it. I don't know what's going on anymore.

But 365 days is a year, and a year is one hundredth of a year in my life, and dedicating that much time to the notebook is a great achievement. Call me a great man.

This is something I've written before, but when I look back at my past articles, I realize how poorly I remember the timeline of my memories before I started writing note, and how horrible the speed of time is, literally and painfully. No, really, how lame is the memory in my head! Shame on you!

But I feel like memories are good because they're reasonably fuzzy. So, honestly speaking, looking back on everything like this is not good for my mental health.

I can't believe I have to keep repeating such unhealthy behavior 365 days a year. Too great! Someone praise!

Because the bass strings are dead

How often do you replace bass strings? Well, to each his own, I guess. I have the impression that basses rarely change their strings.

But recently, or rather, for quite some time now, I've been playing the bass instead of the guitar at home, and the strings have been dying for quite some time now. With guitars, "broken strings" is one of the reasons to replace them, but with basses, I don't know when to change them since they don't break even when I play at home.

I don't know when it's time for me to change the strings, since I feel the strings are dead...

Bass strings are expensive, right?

Expensive, right?

I just checked the purchase history of the sound house, the last time I bought bass strings was on October 4, 2012, and the price was 2,057 yen. It's been a month and a half since then. Well, it's about the same if you think about the fact that I had to change the guitar strings for 473 yen every three or four gigs in a month. 2000 yen? I thought it was much more expensive than that.

Bass strings are much more expensive than guitar strings.

For some reason, I assumed that this was a big deal, but when I think about it calmly, it's not such a big deal at all. I'm so glad.

I'm going to buy new strings.

Leaders' desire" has been released

The song "Lead No Desire" is now available on Youtube. Like "Byakuya ni Kyouye," it's not a new song. And like "Byakuya ni Kyoue", I think it's the first or second single released by Kanashibari for limited distribution... but I wonder if the first one was "Digital hallucination" (a style I won't look up, even if I will).

But, of course, the arrangement has changed a lot from your previous releases. The name of the song is also changed from "Lead No Desire" to "Lead No Desire," and the "No" has been changed to "No". I think it's safe to say that this is a different song. No, this is a new song! Yay new song new song!

If you don't know about the "previous releases", search for "leaden desire" on various distribution sites and compare it with this one!

Speaking of which, I made this song with the idea of "making a song that makes you lose track of the chords," and it's working quite well (A melody).

Like a long, gooey stew that takes a long time to make

I've been subjected to two kinds of hell on Youtube: "Infinite Empty Ear Hour Hell" and "Infinite Kinnikuman Hell".

Those two hells have left me with sunken eyes, sunken cheeks, breathlessness, and tattered clothes, and I've only been able to sleep soundly for more than 8 hours a day, but I'm feeling like I'm about to be fucked again.

However, it's not like "Infinite Hell" this time. I'm not sure if it's because of the "Mugenkinniku Man Hell", or if it's because there's a "pro-wrestling connection" between Kinniku Man and pro-wrestling, or if it's because of the "pro-wrestling connection", or if it's because of the "pro-wrestling connection", but I started to see pro-wrestling videos on Youtube.

Of course, my honest friend, I would watch it while drooling with a stupid face on my face as recommended by Youtube, but there was one of them that I was really interested in. The content is about incidents that happened in the Showa Pro Wrestling era, which I'm sure some people are interested in and others aren't (I am), but what's worth mentioning is the background music.

It seems like all the videos have the same background music so far, but it's the same phrase or riff that repeats throughout the song. It's an addictive song that has a dark tone to it, and with the content of the Showa pro-wrestling incident, it's addictive.

I can't tell you how much I love songs that repeat the same lines over and over again. I don't know if any riffs are good enough, but I don't know, I like that kind of music.

When it comes to "a great song that repeats the same phrase over and over again", the Rolling Stones' "Shattered" is by far my favorite, and I feel the same way about the background music in that video. I can watch them stew for hours, and I feel the same way. I wonder who it's called.

Spreading Kanashibari around

Today is Monday. When I think of occupations that are closed on Monday, I think of barbershops, drinking establishments, museums, and amusement facilities. Also, I wonder if hair salons in the Kansai area are often closed on Mondays. In Kanto, they are usually closed on Tuesdays.

Good news for those of you who are off on Mondays.

11/16 26:30- Kanashibari will appear on Nara TV's "ROCK ON L7"!

That's right. It's the day your beloved Kanashibari is on TV again, ma'am. But it's Monday at midnight, so the good news is better for those who are off on Tuesday than for those who are off on Monday.

Come to think of it, I've heard that many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays, is that true? I don't feel like that too much. By the way, it is said that the reason why many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays is because they don't want to have fires and fires and their books to be in flames, but I guess it's the same for all types of businesses.

Anyway, once again, Mr. Kanashibari will be appearing on Nara TV's "Rock on L7". I wonder how many times she'll be appearing on the show. I wonder if all the people of Nara Prefecture have been injected with Kanashibari, and instead of saying "Hello", they are saying "Bacteria".

I'm looking forward to seeing them again tonight, spreading Kanashibari all over the public airwaves.

I think it's going to last forever

Everything has a beginning and an end. Even human beings started as single-celled organisms born from a chemical reaction of organic matter and amino acids and will end someday.

Nothing lasts forever.

But even though we know this in our minds, we sometimes unconsciously think that it will last forever, don't we?

By the way, when I googled "I think it will last forever", I found a bunch of horrible search results like "how long is this loving relationship going to last" and "what is the best way to make loving your boyfriend last".

Well, I mean, neither the universe, nor humanity, nor your never-ending job, nor your loving relationship can last forever. It will end sometime.

So I'll preface this by saying that I thought it would never end, but here it is, finally, after thinking it would never end, and here it is.

That's right, I finally finished the Otoko Ume Sour (for business use) I bought on September 26, yesterday. I thought I'd never finish it because it didn't go down no matter how much I drank. But I guess the law of the universe, "If there is a beginning, there is an end," couldn't be resisted, even if it's a male plum sour (for business use).

For now, I'll stop buying the commercial version.

Pickups replaced

I had recently asked the repair shop to replace the pickup with a Canasibari Les Paul. It came back safely a few days ago.

This time, I'm replacing the pickups that were originally on it, and probably original to the guitar, with Bill Lawrence's L500L.

I had used the L500L on another guitar before, so I think I have some idea of its characteristics. From what I remember so far, it's "quirky, and it sounds seriously unbelievably good when you're into the setting, but when it's not, it's so bad that you don't like it anymore".

So, here's the sound, right off the bat...

What was that sound?

No, in conclusion, it's very good. It has a good balance, and although it has a certain amount of power, the separation of the sound is good, and the picking nuances are very good, so it's very easy to control.

In the past, the L500L was a bit "cold" in both good and bad ways, but that's not the case at all. It's not very quirky, nor is it too cold, but it's just outstanding. It's just a great balance of sounds.

I guess it's just a matter of how well it goes with the guitar. The original Les Paul that I uploaded here had a really great sounding pickup, but it had a lot of lows, so it was buried in the ensemble. When I removed the lows so that they wouldn't be buried, the sound became completely uninteresting.

People often say that the L500L has a "tighter low" sound, and I think that's a good thing. And it has a lot of stickiness.

The L500L is also very sticky. It's been a long time since I've had such a perfect fit. The more I use it, the more I'm dissatisfied with it. But for now, I am very happy with it.

But this Les Paul is just so heavy!

Just turn on the enhanced privacy mode

On this blog, I had a situation where the "Youtube video in the article is displayed on a PC, but not on a smartphone". I wondered if it was a problem with the size of the video, and I tried making it the default size for insertion, or even smaller, but it didn't work, and eventually I didn't understand it and left it there.

But if you think about it, there must be some people who are hit by the same phenomenon, so I tried to look it up on the Internet.

Then I found the answer rather quickly.

I'm still not sure if the service I'm using for this blog is called "blogger" or "blogspot", but if you want to put a Youtube video in a post on this blogging service provided by Google, you need to copy the embed code You must check "Enable privacy enhancement mode. If you want to use this mode, you have to check "Enable privacy-enhanced mode".

Note that this checkbox is much lower than the embed code and you have to scroll down to get it.

Maybe it's the same for blogs other than "blogger" or "blogspot" (I haven't tested it). It also seems to be different for different videos (I didn't need it for the Junkman video I put up on "Infinite Kinnikuman Hell").

Come on, folks. Now there's no more obstacles to your burning desire. Feel free to put the Kanashibari videos on your blogs and whatever else you've got!

I've added English subtitles

I just added English subtitles to "Mad on the Midnight Sun," which was released four days ago!

You can "turn it on/off" by clicking on the subtitle icon on the leftmost side of the icons lined up at the bottom right of the screen when watching on a PC, or the "cc" icon at the top right of the screen when watching on a smartphone.

This is the first time I've done an English translation of a song's lyrics... or so I think. I translate song titles into English because it's necessary to register on the overseas distribution site, but I don't think I've ever translated the lyrics of a song into English.

But it's a difficult thing to do. It's not enough to have lyrics that make sense. It's important to have a "feel for the words" and the atmosphere that comes from the words and phrases.

Especially in this song, the two most difficult parts are "Byakuya" and "Kyoue", ma'am. If you look up the word "midnight sun" in English, the first thing that usually comes up is "midnight sun". And the other words are "white night," "arctic night," and "short night.

At any rate, "midnight sun" seems to refer to the sun itself in the midnight sun, which is not the same as "white night". I think "arctic night" is also mainly referring to the Arctic, and "short night" seems to be used even if it's not a white night, so I chose "white night" by process of elimination.

But it's "white night", so it's "white night". Hmm, it's too straightforward, and I don't really like it.

And then there's "krazy". Speaking of "crazy", I think "crazy", "mad" or "insane" would be appropriate, but this time I chose "insane". Crazy" sounds like a crazy party, which is not quite right to me (prejudice).

I'll confess that at first, I changed "crazy" to "go crazy". In the other part of the song, I changed it to "frenzy , crazy". I was trying to make it consistent.

But yesterday, I introduced you to the idea of consistency, which was expressed by Mr. Yudetamago: "If you get hung up on the details, the content gets boring.

Yes, that's right. I just yesterday learned the lesson "don't be afraid to lose the plot", so I rewrote "crazy" to "insane" in a hurry.

Well, lyrics are more about atmosphere than meaning.

Kinnikuman Infinite Hell

Up until the other day, whenever I opened Youtube, "The Empty Ear Hour" always showed up as a recommendation, and I was in "Infinite Empty Ear Hour Hell" where I would watch it, get recommended again, watch it again, get recommended again, get recommended even more, and then get recommended even more... As I reported in the article "Infinite Earshot Hour Hell", I was in "Infinite Earshot Hour Hell".

I was relieved to find that I was able to escape from that hell before I knew it, but the next hell was already waiting for me. It seems that we have to keep our guard up at all times in this world, and as the saying goes, "A man has seven enemies if he straddles the threshold".

This time it's Kinniku Man. I've had a lot of déjà vu bubbling up in my head as a result of my repeated attempts to watch Kinnikuman, and this is why my current Youtube site is filled with all sorts of Kinnikuman-related stuff. In the recommendations, there are a lot of them.

From the superhumans we already miss to the ones we didn't know about before, but anyway, there are superhumans called superhumans fighting on Ore-sama's Youtube. Demon superheroes are so cool!

...I wonder what the hell Youtube wants to do with Ore-sama.

By the way, the author, Mr. Yudetamago, doesn't hesitate to say that "if you get hung up on the details, the content gets boring", and if he comes up with a better setting, he will discard the past settings, which is why Kinnikuman is famous for its storylines that don't always add up. However, thanks to Youtube, I've come to think that "that kind of dynamic inconsistency in the storyline is very appealing".

So, among the "superhero introductions" kind of videos, the one I was most interested in was Junkman.

I'm wondering how you go about your daily life with those hands!

BILL LAWRENCE L500L

I was thinking of changing the pickups because I wanted to get a crunchy sound out of my guitar, and I remembered that I had a Bill Lawrence L500XL on my old Cherry Flying V that I used to use, so I put it on an unidentified Canasibari Les Paul, as I wrote the other day. I found something like this in my room.

Bill Lawrence's L500L, a pickup that's a step below the L500XL in power.

That's right. I forgot to mention that before I put the L500XL on that guitar, I used to put the L500L on the Flying V. That's right. I forgot about the L500L before I put the L500XL in that guitar. As I recall, the L500L was a great pickup that had a nice, clean sound and could be crunchy when distorted, but I wondered what would happen if it had the same sound and more power, so I put the L500XL in there. As it turned out, the L500XL had more power, but it wasn't as sharp as the L500L, and I don't think it was as good as the L500XL.

However, Bill Lawrence's pickups have a very peculiar sound (the middle part of the pickup is very special). But when it doesn't work, it's just not good enough.

So I decided to take the L500XL off my Flying V and put it on my Kanashibari Les Paul.

A Canasibari Les Paul like a carp on a cutting board.

Yes, these days I leave all this kind of work to the professionals. I haven't used a soldering iron for years.

I wonder what it will sound like. It's been a long time since I've had this kind of excitement!

Withdrawal of the preamble

The word "foretelling" is there to be withdrawn, and the word "two words" reads "otoko.

Last week, on today, i.e., November 2, 2020, or simply the 306th day after the beginning of the year on the Gregorian calendar, the day commonly known as the day Donus ascended to the papacy, I wrote in this note, "My fourth and final appearance on Nara TV's ROCK ON L7, and I'm coming to the end of my life.

Yes, I even wrote about it.

But, you know, I thought Kanashibari was finished last week, but after today, it's going to continue to appear in the show. Yay! What did I just say? A man always has two words for you!

I love Nara. What I love is that I love Nara. I wish I could live in Nara too!

Whenever I think of Nara, I think of Gyoza no Ousho (Gyoza King's Restaurant) that we stopped at on our way to Nara for a tour. I remember that someone ordered a plate of karaage (fried food) and it came with salt and pepper on the side. It's not so surprising that salt or pepper is attached to a fried food, but I had never been to Gyoza no Ousho before, so I was surprised at the fact that the arrangement of the dish is quite different in each restaurant, even though it is a chain restaurant.

I'm very fond of Osho. What I love is that I love Osho. Last week we went there and the food was really good!

11/9 26:30- Nara TV "ROCK ON L7

So wait until 26:30 today while you eat your dumplings! Thank you, people in the Nara area.

"Madness in the midnight sun" is now available

Hakuya. It is usually read as "Byakuya", but did you know that it is originally read as "Hakuya"? Over time, however, this and that have made me think that I can just go ahead and do it. It's amazing, isn't it?

Speaking of Byakuya, of course, HANOI ROCKS' "Byakuya's Tragedy" is the first song on their first album and one of their most famous songs. It's the first song on their memorable first album, and it's a representative song. By the way, the official title of the album is "Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes", but the Japanese title is "Violence in the White Night". It's amazing. Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes" is "Violence in the White Night". Now that I think about it, it sounds like a song title from Canasibari. That's what made me fall in love with HANOI ROCKS, isn't it? I'm not the one who gave it a Japanese title, though. But I have to take my hat off to the person who came up with the Japanese title. I wish there was some kind of app that converts words into Japanese like that.

That's why we can't afford to lose to Kanashibari. To compete with Byakuya, of course, it's Byakuya. We've just released "Madness in the midnight sun" on Youtube!

What do you think? Isn't it amazing? It looks like Hanoi will soon be taking over the title of "Midnight Sun" from me.

The song was released today, but it's not a new song. The song has been around since very early on, and I think it's probably either the first or second track of the limited edition single that Kanashibari released.

That said, it's a lot different from the previous ones. The sound is, of course, very different, but the arrangement is also very different. If you don't know what the "old one" was, go to various distribution sites and search for "Byakuya ni Kyoue" and listen to it to compare!

And now we're looking forward to your channel registration and support!

Plus or minus five steps back

Surprisingly, the time is 22:23 now.

I usually write this note around 5:00 p.m. these days, but I noticed that it's already this late.

I've been literally spending all my time on something these days, and I've been literally spending all my time on it from this morning as well. I'm not joking at all, I saw it in my dreams yesterday and the day before yesterday. Oh no! Someone do something about it!

However, I'm making progress, although I'm taking turtle steps. But when you take one step forward, you take 0.9 steps back, or in some cases, you don't realize you're taking two steps back for every one step forward, and you think you've taken five steps forward, but you're actually taking ten steps back. No, if you take 5 steps forward and 10 steps back, you're plus or minus 5 steps back.

Well, that's about it.

Speaking of which, I was thinking about changing the pickups because I wanted to get more of a zacky sound on the guitar, and I thought, "I'll have to pick the pickups again! I was so excited to see what I was going to do, but then I remembered something.

I had an old Cherry Tokai Flying V with a Bill Lawrence L500XL on it, and it made a zakuzak sound. It's more like a machete cut. But it's not very sticky.

So, I'm going to remove the L500XL from my Flying V and put it on the unidentified Kanashibari Les Paul.

Curvature

I have one placed mirror in my room, and I noticed that the reflection in that mirror is slightly shorter vertically and slightly longer horizontally. In other words, that mirror surface is shaped like a tucked-in belly just a little bit.

I don't know if it was originally like that or if it gradually transformed after I bought it, though I bought it at the 100-yen store, which everyone loves.

I don't know if it was like that originally, or if it has been gradually deformed since we bought it, but it looks scary. It's probably just a little bit curved, so I don't feel uncomfortable when I see my face in the mirror, but when I see my face in that mirror, the impression I get is very different and I'm scared.

But when I tried to reflect my face in various parts of the mirror, I felt something strange about it. It seems to be not a perfect, beautiful curve.

If you think about it, you can't see your own face directly, so when you do see it, it's always the reflection of something else, right? A mirror or a photograph or an image. But that reflection isn't always a little bit curved or exactly the way it should be, like in this mirror.

What do I really look like?

What the hell is wrong with you if you skimp on the easy, easy, and unthinking

 Exotic.

For some reason, this word reminds me of some parts of Asia. The original meaning of the word is "an atmosphere and atmosphere different from that of one's home country", so it can refer to any country other than Japan, but the emotion it conjures up is quite limited. It's probably because of my low level of experience in life.

We often use the adjective "exotic" in music, don't we? It's usually referring to a piece of music that uses Arabic or Indian or Southeast Asian scales. We don't use it for Western scales. I guess some people use it, but I don't. I'm a foreigner. I don't use it, even though it's a foreign country.

The reason I say this is because I played an "exotic" guitar solo the other day. I ad-libbed it and it just happened to happen, but to be honest, most of those things are so "easy" that I think I'll play it again...I'm keeping a lid on the stinkin' thing. What's wrong with being easy, cheap, unthinking and lazy! (Punska)

But that's not the point, I need to do something about the vocalist who dubbed the lyrics wrong! Please someone please invent a device that converts recorded words into different words, yo!

Oh, the shop in question started buying yet another spoon (see photo). The old one is still there, but I wonder if it's not an ingredient.
