Tiramisu and Zipangu

I had a craving for something sweet, so I bought a "tiramisu-like crepe-like cake-like something" at a convenience store, and when I ate it, I tasted honey to my horror.

I'm sure I've had tiramisu a few times before, but did it have that much honey in it?

I looked it up, but it doesn't really feature honey, does it? I don't see many recipes that use honey.

I don't really have any feelings about tiramisu, so I don't really care if it's arranged as "honey-heavy" or "cucumber-heavy," but I was strangely bothered by the honey, and it made my memory of the original tiramisu taste even less clear.

By the way, when you say the word "tiramisu," the word "bubble" instantly comes to mind, doesn't it? That's right. Tiramisu in Japan is a chic dessert born in northern Italy that emerged in the swirling frenzy of the bubble era.

I've never experienced the benefits of the bubble era, but in those days, young people were feverishly enjoying themselves at discos at night, all the women wore one-piece body-con dresses and waved fans all the time, company expenses were unlimited, you had to wave a 10,000 yen bill to stop a cab, Rolls-Royces were selling like hotcakes, bonuses were handed out so fast that the bonus bags were standing upright, multiple mistresses were paid one million yen each every month, and all the company employees took taxis to work. All company employees commuted by cab. It seems to have been a wonderful time.

The future of humanity

What the hell was that brand symbol in my dream the other day?

Needless to say, this question is one that will affect the future of humanity.

Of course, the future of humanity is as important to me as raw oysters, so I licked my way through all the volumes of the manga Cobra and finally found the relevant part.

And what I thought were "subterranean people" were "Martian cavemen".

But it's not quite right.

But today, I had a lightning bolt of inspiration.

This.

This is Guy-Manuel de Omen-Christo of Daft Punk. Yes, the brand mark that appeared in my dream was the profile of this helmet.

Oh, thank goodness. I have saved humanity from the danger of extinction again. As usual, I can't thank you enough, but if you insist, you can simply give me Bank of Japan notes, securities, expensive goods, land and building rights, etc., issued by the Bank of Japan.

Everything is virtual reality

The other day, one of the video series "NHK Special: The Birth of Humankind" appeared on Youtube as a recommendation, and I found it very interesting, so I watched the entire series (8 videos).

I found it very interesting, so I watched all of them (8).

・ 40,000 years ago Why did weak Homo sapiens unite in groups?

・43,000 years ago: The evolution of Homo sapiens hunting.

・50,000 years ago Neanderthals vs. giant creatures

・50,000 years ago Neanderthals vs. giant creatures

・1.8 million years ago, humans were marathon runners!

・2.4 Million Years Ago, Humans' Rivals Were Hyenas!

・3.7 million years ago, humans ate insects!

・4.4 million years ago, humans were loving wives and caring men!

There are so many titles that will make your booze-soaked head drool that there is no choice but to not watch them.

It's interesting. Neanderthal man" is a character that appeared in "The Complete History of Sapiens" and played a role in the tragedy of "extinction" (though he's not a character), so I'm already curious.

As I did so, the recommendations that were displayed started to change. I started watching more and more of the recommendations that came up, such as "Civilization of the Jomon," "Super Ancient Civilization 55 Million Years Ago," "The Truth About Easter Island," "The Tower of Babel Exists," "The Birth of the Earth," "The Birth and End of the Universe," and "Do Parallel Worlds Exist?

As I was watching all these videos, I came across a video called "Proof that this world is a virtual reality". It's a video that uses various theories to prove that this world is a virtual reality (VR).

I don't want to go into too much detail, but this video made it clear to me. This world is all virtual reality. When you get angry with your boss, when your girlfriend cheats on you, when you step on a banana peel and fall down, it's all virtual reality. No doubt about it. I'm glad that Youtube has helped me to clear my mind.

Profile of a subterranean man

I went to a second-hand clothing store to sell a shirt I bought for 1,400 yen a while ago because I no longer needed it, and I was able to sell it for 12,500 yen. I was shocked at the appraisal price, but I was convinced that it was because it had the added value of having been worn by me, so I went home and the phone rang. It was a woman who worked at a second-hand clothing store, and she asked me to refund her money because the assessment I had made earlier had been a mistake. I said, "No, I was told it was a mistake," but to my surprise, she said she was coming to my house. When I opened the door to my house, I was surprised to find the woman standing there, telling me that the clothes I had just bought were a counterfeit of a certain luxury brand and that she had not noticed it at the time of the appraisal. On the display, the logo of the real brand and the logo of the shirt I sold were shown side by side, and although the one I sold had the logo, it did not have the accompanying mark. The one I sold did have the logo, but it did not have the accompanying mark.

The brand's logo was a space suit with the head turned sideways, and I thought it looked like Journey's Frontiers, but when I actually checked the Frontiers jacket, it was totally different.

It wasn't a profile view to begin with. It was more deformed and I couldn't see the face inside.

I have a feeling that it's the protective suit of the underground man from the manga Cobra, but a quick search of the Internet doesn't turn up anything about it. I guess I'll have to go back and read all the Cobra books today.

The background music that goes best with reading Cobra is Kanashibari. Please subscribe to the Kanashibari Channel!

Scenery that goes well with wine

Windows (Windows 10 only?) Whenever I start up my PC, it displays some kind of amazing scenery of the world.

I just came home and started up my PC at home, and I saw a very nice scenery on the screen.

It's a scene that makes wine go faster and faster. I'm not drinking wine.

This European city, where time seems to have stopped, attracts many travelers. When you visit here...

"When you come to this city of Renaissance architecture, you can't miss a canal cruise.

I knew that I was probably in Europe, but I didn't know where in Europe.

This startup screen that appears every time doesn't tell you where the scenery is, does it? So I went to "sleep -> wake up" to check, and when I re-displayed the screen, I found the "Do you like it? which appears in the upper right corner of the screen, you can see the location. I didn't know that.

The location of today's image was "Brugge, Belgium. I thought it was "To a place called Brugge, Belgium", but there is a place called "Brugge", isn't there? I didn't know that. I heard it's a city with three World Heritage Sites. I didn't know that at all.

When I saw the Chinese character for "advance" in the title, I had a gestalt collapse. I think I'll have a glass of wine today.

The best music to go with wine is of course Kanashibari, and the Kanashibari Channel is the perfect accompaniment to wine.

Motörhead's cover song "Be My Baby" is now available on Youtube

The other day, I released a 30-second video of Motörhead's cover song "Be My Baby" on Youtube, and now I've decided to release the full song.

As I wrote the other day, I only remember playing this song once at a gig, and of course there is no gig video, so this is a lyric video. It looks like the Motörhead character "Warpig", but he's wearing the same make-up as Ore-sama, and you can see the Kanashibari crest carved into his forehead. In other words, he's a "warshibari" or a "kanapig".

By the way, I've only done a few covers since I started singing vocals. This, Gastunk, Dead Boys, Clash... I don't know what else I've done. I think the number of songs is in the single digits.

I started out as a guitarist, so naturally I copied many songs on the guitar like a demon. I'm not very good at memorizing my own lyrics, and I'm even worse at memorizing other people's lyrics, and I don't know what it is about covering or copying songs as a vocalist, but I'm not very good at it.

I've written some negative things about cover songs, but I think this song is pretty good. Yes, it's very good. The best part of the song is the shout "Goolway! at the beginning and in the middle of the song is the best. I don't even know what I'm saying.

Be My Baby" has just been added to the new Kanashivari Channel! Please subscribe to our channel!

M・A・D

Tsukiko Amano is nice, isn't it? You're currently working under the name "Amano Tsuki". In the early days, I had the impression that she sang with a lot of falsetto, but I like the songs where she doesn't use falsetto as much and uses her voice more.

Natsuhiko Kyogoku's "Hyakkiyakou series" is very good. I was really shocked by the contents and the thickness of the books, from "The Summer of the Bird of Prey" to "The Cage of the Iron Rat. I read them over and over again in spite of their thickness.

I heard that "The Box of the Môryô" from Kyôgoku Natsuhiko's "Hyakkiyô Series" was made into an anime a long time ago (I've never seen it), and yesterday I suddenly remembered that there was a MAD movie made with the "Box of the Môryô" anime and Tsukiko Amano's "Zero no Tunings".

I think it was originally from Nico Nico Douga and reprinted on Youtube, but I couldn't find it on Youtube now. So I found it on Nico Nico Douga.

The Box of the Môryô MAD - Tunings of Zero

It's really good. I mean, SHARA-sensei's guitar solo in this song is really unfair. If you don't know the story of The Box of the Môryô, you may not be impressed, but if you do, you'll love it.

I also remembered that a long time ago, there was an original animation of "The Cage of the Iron Rat" from the Hyakki Yakou series, and there was a MAD with "Inner Universe" or "Origa" by Yoko Kanno. I don't remember if it was "Inner Universe" or "Origa", but if there were multiple videos and both were used. It was a very long time ago, so my memory is pretty hazy.

The animation was like a black-and-white line drawing original by the contributor, and it was really atmospheric, and it was perfect for the world view of "The Cage of the Iron Rat" with Yoko Kanno's music. I'd like to see it again. If anyone can find it, please let me know!

We have another order from the mastermind

It was in December 2019 that Kanashibari first descended on terrestrial television in the homes of ordinary people. When I think about it, it seems like a relatively recent event, but when I hear (or rather see) the year "2019," it seems like a long time ago, which is strange.

First, I went to Hyogo Sun TV, then to KBS Kyoto TV, and then to Nara TV. It seems to have appeared quite a number of times in the Kansai area, as it seems to have appeared repeatedly in the broadcasts of each station.

All of this is a conspiracy...or a plan...orchestrated by the same mastermind. And of course, the conspiracy is still going on, and yesterday, the next order came.

That's right. It's time to start preparing for the next one.

As Kanashibari is just a messenger of a man who is at the very end of this huge conspiracy, we have no way of knowing the full extent of this horrible conspiracy, but there it is. It's going to be on terrestrial waves again, and it's going to come out of the box called TV and into our homes. I'm sure the number of households that can watch it will increase dramatically next time.

I wonder what kind of shameful Kanashibari video I'll make next.

Forewarned is forearmed. Pleasure is for the brain

I haven't eaten many (or any) snacks lately, but last night I had a fierce, or perhaps morbid, urge to eat potato chips! I ran to the convenience store in the cold weather, screaming, "I want to eat potatoes! I ran into the convenience store and bought some potato chips, beer and soju-hai. In yesterday's article, I wrote, "Today I'll celebrate with a one-cup drink! I wrote in yesterday's article, "Today we'll celebrate with one cup! Because they are potato chips. That's right. As I've written many times, the purpose of a previous statement is to retract it, and two words are always attached to a man.

So I munched on the potato chips I had bought and washed it down with beer and soju-hai, but I felt like I wouldn't need to eat for a while. I don't think I'll need to eat for a while. I don't know if I could have eaten half of it, or if five pieces would have been enough.

By the way, it's been a while since people started talking about how addictive potato chips are, but I wonder if it's true.

I googled it and found out that potato chips are "a food that gives your brain a sense of euphoria and ecstasy by adding the four heavenly kings of taste, oil, sugar, umami seasoning, and salt, to the carbohydrates that we instinctively find delicious.

It's amazing. It's just potatoes fried in oil and covered with a lot of additives.

According to a study, potato chips are ranked third in the top 10 most addictive foods. By the way, pizza is number one, and chocolate is number two. I see. I don't have a craving for pizza, but I do have a craving for chocolate at times. I wonder if that was a withdrawal symptom.

The first place of the "Top 10 Least Addictive Foods" is cucumber.

Cucumbers?

What? Really?

I can't stop eating pickled cucumbers, can I?

The hypothesis has been proven

As I mentioned before, I've been tweeting past articles from NOTE from time to time. I've set the bot to tweet once every 18 or 20 hours, which is a bit shorter than 24 hours, since I can only tweet once every 24 hours, considering that the number of articles increases by one every day.

The idea behind this is that once you've done something, you've put a lot of time and effort into it, and you want to suck it up to the bone.

So, two weeks after I started the trial, my monthly PV increased by a little more than 10%.

I hypothesized that "if I run it for two weeks and my PV goes up by a little over 10% for a month, then if I run it for a whole month it will go up by about 25%", and as a result of continuing to run it solemnly, my PV went up by 25% for a month. As a result, my PV went up by 25% in one month.

Of course, my followers have increased during that time, so I don't know if the 25% increase was purely due to "tweeting a past article once every 18 or 20 hours", but I'm sure it has a lot to do with it.

It's just a matter of "the more exposure I got, the more access I got," so it's pretty obvious, but it's nice when a hypothesis can be proven so clearly with numbers.

I'm going to have a one-cup toast today!

On the thirteenth leg

Well, it's been two days since we released the music video for "Five IQ". I hope everyone has had a chance to watch, listen, taste and digest it.

As I wrote in the article when I released it, this song has been drastically changed from the original, especially the so-called C-melody, from melody to lyrics, from dreams to hopes, from love to despair, in short, everything has been completely changed.

I'm proud to say that I've written about it, but today I realized something. I was proud to write such a thing, but today I realized that I hadn't changed the lyrics.

Kanashibari has released all the lyrics of all the songs. Some companies require their employees to recite the lyrics of all the songs during work hours, and some people scribble the lyrics as part of their bedtime routine. I'm very sorry for the delay. Here are the corrected lyrics.

KANASHIBARI "Lyrics"

I like this music video because it's like an old western suspense in some places!

Whose competence does it depend on?

I finished reading Ray Bradbury's "Golden Apples of the Sun" with great emotion on January 13, and I was so moved that I immediately got a copy of "The Martian Chronicles," also by Ray Bradbury. I don't remember exactly, but I think I had it a few days after I finished reading "Golden Apples of the Sun.

It's been about a month since then, and a lot has happened in a month: three songs, "Devil Studs," "Walk Out," and "Five IQ" were released on the Kanashibari Channel, a lot of 12-inch records were unearthed at the Kanashibari base, I made friends with beautiful women from all over the world, and I've been able to make a lot of new friends. We stepped on makibishi, threw beans at demons while eating ehomaki rolls, ate yakisoba noodles with a sore tailbone whose name I can't remember, and drank one-cup bottles.

I finally started reading "The Martian Chronicles" after going through so many hurdles.

It's been a month since I managed to block out the glimpses of this book on my desk at home, and then glanced at it again. Finally, yesterday, I decided to start reading it.

Well, what can I say, it's good. I wrote in my impressions of reading "The Golden Apple of the Sun" that it was not "interesting" but "good," and that's what I felt from the very beginning. What is this feeling? What can I say?

The metaphorical expressions in the text are just too wonderful. I'm not a slow reader, but the excellent metaphorical expressions made me stop every time, so I couldn't continue reading. I'm curious to see what happens next, but I wouldn't have a problem if the story just ended without much of an ending.

I wonder if this is really the way it was written in the original. I wonder if it's really the same in the original, and if it's this good, I wonder if it's due to the translator's ability.

It's going to take me a long time to finish reading this. Or rather, I want to take the time to read it!

DETARAMEYAROU

For lunch today, I decided to have a cup of yakisoba, which is not so-called sauce flavored, but rather "pork bone and soy sauce flavored" as it says on the package (I had completely forgotten about it recently).

In the convenience store industry, where the product cycle is very fast except for regular products, I don't think I'll ever see them again. With my vision blurred by tears of sadness, I groped around and bought another cup of yakisoba. I brought it to the Kanashibari base and ate it with the intention of squeezing in a lot of the tube of garlic I had in the fridge, but the mustard mayonnaise that came with it was tasty enough, so there was no need for the garlic. Thanks for the food!

So today, the music video for "Five IQ" has been released!

"Isn't "Five IQ" the one from the second EP that screams "De-ta-ra-me bastard! You're half right, half wrong. It's a new version. This is the new version. It's a new version, with a different melody and lyrics for the song in the middle (commonly called "C-melody"). If you listen to it, you'll probably notice that everything has changed quite a bit.

No longer fashionable

I didn't realize that even the Foo Fighters had a hand in it.

In this note, I have repeatedly talked about the greatness of Metallica senpai, who made whiskey by "propagating the sound waves of their music and letting it age"... but it seems that the Foo Fighters let their music be heard on sake, not whiskey! I've been talking about the greatness of their predecessors. The Foo Fighters seemed to be playing their music on sake instead of whiskey. It's no exaggeration to say that the act of "aging sake while listening to one's own music (and selling it)" has become popular.

At any rate, I'd like to compare the taste of Metallica's whiskey or Foo Fighters' sake, aged while listening to their music, and aged without listening to their music as usual.

Also, I'd like to know if anyone can analyze the frequency characteristics of the songs of different bands. I really think to myself that the "comfortable sound" is fixed and unmovable. I think I like a wide variety of music, but when it comes to making my own music (not in the sense of composing, but recording and mixing), I usually end up in a similar place.

So I think that each band has its own frequency response. For recordings, it's not only the band members, but also the producer's preference. I wonder if there's someone who can analyze and summarize it in an easy-to-understand way.

Today's "Kanashibari 30 second video" is "Walk Out" and the video is from a gig at Ikebukuro Teto on October 25, 2019. There's almost never a gig where we didn't play "Walk Out", so I have a groan-worthy amount of gig footage of "Walk Out".

The Holy Bible / Manic Street Preachers

The Holy Bible" by Manic Street Preachers. It's not a band I'm particularly attached to, but it's the only album I like.

Speaking of Manic Street Preachers, the guitarist Richie disappeared and was pronounced dead without being found. I thought this album was made after Ritchie's disappearance, because it sounds like a three-piece.

But still, it's so dark. I thought it was the album after Richie's disappearance because of this overwhelming "darkness". I thought it reflected the sadness of losing Ritchie. It's dark. Dark and beautiful. And catchy. If you like, it's also light-hearted. Even though it's dark.

I haven't listened to most of the albums after "The Holy Bible" because I couldn't accept the next album, "Everything Must Go," because it was too big and major.

So I listened to "The Holy Bible" for the first time in a while, and it's still good. I really think this album is a masterpiece. Incidentally, it was chosen as the number one album in the British music magazine NME's special feature on the 50 darkest albums of all time.

I think it's mentally difficult to fill up an album with "light and catchy darkness without being dull.

The mystery deepens

In yesterday's post, "The mystery of 75 times," I wrote that I suddenly received a badge saying "You have shared an article on SNS 75 times" after sharing about 900 articles every day.

The number of times the article has been shared on social networking sites has reached 80 times.

Eighty times...?

It was Tuesday when the "75 times shared" notice was displayed. In the three days since then, I've been posting articles every day and sharing them on Twitter and Facebook, so I've shared six times in that period.

If I had shared 75 times by Tuesday, I would have shared 81 times yesterday, which in itself seems correct. However, I think the premise that "I had shared 75 times by Tuesday" is wrong. It seems that the "80 notices" are not badges, but just "notices"; you get a badge for 75 shares, and the next badge is for 100 shares.

By the way, yesterday's post was my 450th consecutive post. The next badge is 100.

I don't know what's going on here.

Today's "Kanashibari 30 second video" is "DIS-KOZMIK". The video is from the Kanashibari one-man gig held at Ogikubo Club Doctor on February 27, 2019. This song is a tribute (not a parody) to a very famous song in the HR/HM community, if you can understand. It's probably the first time in my life that I've written "HR/HM" myself!

The mystery of 75 times

On Tuesday of this week, I got this when I posted "I have no idea".

The number of times the article has been shared on social networking sites has reached 75 times.

75 times...?

As far as I can remember, I don't think I've ever shared someone else's article on SNS, so that means I've shared my own article on SNS, right?

I've been posting this note for about 450 days in a row now, and I've shared it on Twitter and Facebook every time I post it. I don't think I've missed a single post. So I think I've shared it about 900 times (and every day in a row), but isn't that what you mean?

75 times...?

If you know what this 75 times means, please let me know.

Well, today's "Kanashibari 30-second video" is "Where's the black? It's a song that I tend to play at gigs. The video is from a gig held at Shibuya Star Lounge on February 19, 2019. This song is actually easy because there's not many parts to sing.

One cup situation in the past and present

Nowadays, there are many kinds of sake cups available. A while ago, I found a shochu cup and bottled it up, but I don't think there were any sake cups like this at that time.

One cup of Yamada Nishiki, just over 200 yen. Isn't that a bit too affordable? If you ask me, the one-cup of Seven Shochikubai I found at Seven the other day was about 150 yen. Of course, if you convert the price per unit, the smaller the cup is, the worse the cost performance is, but it's just so affordable.

One cup (or canned chuhai) and an old man with a racing newspaper used to be a set, but the One cup of those days and the One cup of today are completely different. The old One Cups were sweet and tasted bad, but this one was just as good as it should have been.

By the way, there used to be a One-Cup that could be heated up, right? I've never bought one myself, so I don't know how it works. I don't think I see them anymore, but I wonder. I'd like to buy one now that I've lost my resistance to one-cups, if there are any.

Today's "Kanashibari 30 Second Video" is "Digital Halucination". The highlight of the video is my Jojo-ness!

Kanji conversion doesn't work

Today I must err, or rather apologize, to everyone. In yesterday's article, I announced in high spirits that I would eat it again tomorrow, but I did not eat it today. When I went to the convenience store to buy lunch, I had an irresistible urge to eat sweet bread, so today's lunch turned out to be sweet bread. There is a saying that "two words are better than one," but I can't quite remember the "two words" part, and I feel like some great man once said that "declarations are for retracting," and "lying is one thing" works at least once a day, or so I hear, and "duplicity" is a synonym for "elegance. In other words, I'm a good-looking guy today.

I found some soft salad crackers in my bag, two pieces of cobblers, no, a small bag. I have no idea why there's a soft salad (cracker) in my bag, but it seems to be quite old. When I ate it, it tasted like pride, no, dust. I don't know if it's the original taste or if it's because it's old. I don't know if it's because it's old or not, but I don't think I've ever eaten dust before.

Well, today's 30-second video is "Dance with hardness", or rather, "Dance with one eye". The video is from a gig at Live Freak in Shinjuku on March 26, 2019. The video is from a gig at Live Freak in Shinjuku on March 26, 2019. "Dance with One Eye" is a really cool song title, but it's just a normal Kanashibari song with great music and lyrics.

I have no idea

Recently, I have been addicted to a certain cup of yakisoba. I don't remember the name of the product, and I didn't take a picture of it, so I don't know most of the information needed to explain it, but I've eaten it seven times in two weeks. I wonder what it's called.

I think it was called "pork bone and soy sauce flavor" on the package, not sauce flavor. I think it was called "pork bone soy sauce flavor" on the package, and the garlic was really strong. I don't think I've ever had an instant ramen or yakisoba with so much garlic in it. The garlicky pork bone and soy sauce flavor is very similar to that of Ramen Jiro. I wonder what the name of it is.

The taste is exactly like Ramen Jiro, but the quantity is not that much. I've always imagined that a cup of yakisoba would have a lot of rice noodles, but the amount is rather small. I don't know if it's because it's so good that I eat it all at once. To be frank, it's not enough at all. By the way, if you eat it with kimchi, it's so good that you will fall over. So far, I've fallen over twice. I don't know what the name of that yakisoba is.

I don't usually get "hooked" on cup ramen or yakisoba, but he seems to have turned on something in me. I can't remember the name of it, but I'll have it again tomorrow. I wonder what kind of yakisoba it is.

Today's 30-second video is "Welcome Dead". It's a song that tends to be the first song of a gig. The video is from a gig at Otsuka MEETS on April 6, 2019. It was a rare daytime event that day, and Kanashibari came on at 12:15 p.m., just when the nighttime city dwellers were about to fall asleep, with a hellish shout of "Welcome, welcome dead!!! It was a hell of a gig. I went out for a drink after that and dropped my phone.

No rebound cushion

My tailbone hurts because I spend a lot of time sitting during the day. I don't remember when I first became aware of this, but it's been bothering me quite a bit lately.

I don't remember when I became aware of it, but it has been bothering me a lot lately. Isn't this a lot of pain? I don't remember if I've been aware of it since then, but I've been noticing it lately.

So, while holding my tailbone with both hands, I rushed to the 100 yen store and bought a low-resilience cushion. I bought a low-resilience cushion. It's a 100-yen store, but it's only 500 yen. It's strange.

It was the first time I used "low rebound something", and for the first few tens of seconds I thought, "Oh! It feels good! I thought, "Oh! It's not "low rebound" anymore, it's "no rebound. Is this because it's a cheap product? Or does "low resilience" just mean "as close to no resilience as possible"?

I've been using it for a while, thinking, "Hmm, this smells like it's no good...," but I suddenly realized that I rarely feel pain in my tailbone these days.

That's right. Even "no rebound" works. It still hurts a little bit, but it's not so bad anymore. My consciousness is now free from my ass. I did it! I'm free at last!

So, today's 30-second video is "Vacuum". It took me a long time to find a video of me playing this song, so my ass hurts.

Be My Baby (Motörhead cover)

Today's 30-second video is a cover of Motörhead's "Be My Baby," which I've written about many times in this note. It's the last song on Kanashibari's 3rd EP "Bacteria", but I only remember playing it once at a gig. I think it was at an all-night event in Shimokitazawa. I don't know if I've ever played it other than that. There are probably one or two more times, but I don't remember them at all. It's a simple and catchy song. It's a simple and catchy song, but I had a hard time remembering its structure.

So of course I didn't have a video of the gig, so I put the episode 5 of the Kanashibari comic that I released a long time ago as a storyboard.

The songs are covers of other people's songs, and the characters in the video are Shocker and the old man of the Chinese restaurant (Cyborg 006), with no Kanashibari. No Kanashibari in the video. They just play other people's songs. That's what you get for asking for help!

By the way, here is "Be My Baby" performed by the original Motörhead on a trailer running through the stadium. What the hell is going on here? Who is that Tamuken-like guy waving at the top of the trailer? It's a strange picture, but Motörhead is always cool.

That guy looks insanely good in hot sauce

Today's 30 second video is "The Eyes", a cover song by the proud Japanese rock band GASTUNK. The video is from Kanashibari's one-man gig at Shimokitazawa MOSAIC on September 29, 2018.

There are times about once a week when I think I need some Tabasco, but each time I forget about it.

Today, I remembered that I wanted Tabasco the other day, and at the same time, I remembered that many rock musicians overseas (or rather in the U.S.) sell chili sauce and hot sauce (Tabasco is a product name) as a side business.

The first one that comes to mind is Michael Anthony, the former bassist of Van Halen. That guy is crazy good with hot sauce, isn't he? I mean, I can't think of any other adjective for him other than "a cheerful American who loves to eat. I peeked at his official website to see what kind of hot sauce he makes, and found out that he does a wide variety of things. He seems to have a lot of production skills. I'm sorry to say, but it's quite unexpected.

Mad Anthony's Cafe

Also, Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Dexter of THE OFFSPRING have released albums, I think. I wonder if they have any official merchandise. I'm sure they do.

Well, I don't know anything about the different flavors of hot sauces, so I'd like to compare every single one that the musicians produce. But it's not something I'd use that much, and if I bought a bottle of each kind, it would probably take me a few years to use them all up.

I decided to make a 30-second video

A new video has been released on Youtube.

The title is "[30 seconds] Kanashibari - Bacteria". As the name suggests, it's a 30-second excerpt from Kanashibari's song "Bacteria," and the video is a gig video.

The video is a gig video. Bacteria is a neat music video, though. The reason why I decided to make such a video again is because I thought, "Let's try TikTok again, let's do it! So I thought it would be easy to make a 30-second video. I had plenty of gig videos to sell, but the sound of gig videos was really bad, so I thought, "Well, why don't I just add a gig video to the official soundtrack, but since that's boring, why don't I just add some effects?

I think this is the fifth time I've done TikTok. I've been doing it for a while, then quitting, then doing it again, then failing. In any case, I don't really like the idea that "if you don't get picked up by the management, you won't be seen by anyone. In the end, it's all up to the management, and I still can't shake the feeling that "continuity" and "effectiveness" don't really go hand in hand.

So, since I've been making videos, I decided to upload them to Youtube, since I don't know if anyone will see them if I just upload them to TikTok (too sad). I don't know if I'll do it every day, but for a while I'm going to keep uploading 30-second videos of various songs at a high frequency.

I don't know if I'll do it every day or not, but I'm going to keep uploading 30-second videos of various songs at a high frequency for a while. I have a feeling that the affinity between you and TikTok is quite low, so please take care of Youtube.

Self-mashup

I needed to change the melody and lyrics of one part of a song, so I ported over a part of another song, and it turned out surprisingly well. Since both songs were composed by me, the mashup became self-contained. In other words, a self-mashup. I can't tell you how good it feels to get it right. I can eat three bowls of rice with this mashup.

For those of you who don't know what a mashup is, it's "a musical technique in which one vocal track and one accompaniment track are taken from two or more songs, and mixed and layered together as if they were originally a song" (by Waykipudua (Wikipedia)).

By the way, a long time ago, I tweeted a mashup video of me playing Guns N' Roses' Mr. Brownstone to Def Cut's R.I.P. Marcos (Unity Posse). It's not strictly a mashup, but more of a "mashup-like" one. However, if I hadn't played the guitar riff of Mr. Brownstone, but had extracted it from a CD or other sound source and layered it on top of the guitar riff, this would be a great mashup.

I've been wanting to make a mashup of various songs (not my own). However, I wonder if it's difficult to make them public due to the copyright of the original songs. I'm sure I'll want to release it once I've made it, though. I guess I should record it on a cassette tape and sell it secretly on the street, like a mix tape.

Pop Art Showdown

I heard that a comic book with a metal band drawn in the style of DC Comics is going to be released. I don't read or know much about American comics, and I don't even watch movies based on American comics, but I love their unique touch and worldview.

Speaking of American comics, DC Comics and Marvel Comics are the two biggest comics publishers, but Marvel Comics is more intriguing in terms of characters. Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. It's like anti-heroism.

DC Comics, on the other hand, is all about Superman. I don't like Superman as much as I like Terryman from Kinnikuman.

Of course, American comics is pop art that originated in America. But the pop art that originated in Japan is something else. It's Ukiyoe, ma'am. Ukiyoe is a revolutionary pop art that changed the art (painting) that had been based on the luxury of a single piece of art into a mass-produced art by introducing the print format. It was born in the Edo period (1603-1868), so it has a different history.

Well, there was a big American band called KISS that got into the world famous pop art that originated in Japan.

Samsara of Setsubun

Today is Setsubun, isn't it? I just found out about it.

And "Isn't Setsubun supposed to be on February 3rd? Baka-yarooooo! I remembered it when I started running towards the setting sun, shouting, "You know what? I remembered that I wrote a note about it last year on Setsubun.

As I recall (I just looked at the past articles), Setsubun is not fixed on February 3rd, but on the day before Risshun, and it is "scheduled" to be February 4th until 1984, February 3rd from 1985 to 2020, and February 2nd or February 3rd from 2021 to 2100.

As you all know, Risshun is the day when the ecliptic longitude of the sun reaches 315 degrees. In other words, since it is based on the movement of celestial bodies, future dates can only be predicted based on orbital calculations. Therefore, the future date of Risshun cannot be determined, and therefore, the day before Risshun, Setsubun, cannot be determined either.

I wrote about this in this note a year ago.

Incidentally, at that time, I also found out that the custom of "Ebomaki" started in 1989 when Mr. Noda of Seven-Eleven Funairi (Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) set up the custom.

By the way, the custom of "ehomaki" started by Mr. Noda at Seven-Eleven in Hiroshima seems to have lost some of its unusual excitement recently, but I wonder how it really is.

The same thing was written in the article of the day after the article of a year ago.

Oh my, I feel like I've been going around in circles forever, and it's scary!
